Hebrews 10:26
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

What does a person do when they knownly comitt a sin. He/she doesn't want to but still does. He/she knows if even just talking about it...the sin is comitted yet again. Yet, if it's not talked about the sin will still end up being comitted.
Is that considered wilfull sin?

When studying the Bible we must look at the circumstances and to whom it was written.
The writer of Hebrew was writing to a group of Jews that had accepted Christ but was
considering going back into Judaism because of the persecution that was coming upon
the Christians.
In Hebrews 10; 26 he is telling the Jewish Christians that if they returned back to the Jewish
law that they would be leaving the one and only Savior and there would never be another
one.
No true Christian wants to commit sin but we all do. There will never be another sacrifice
for sin but the blood of Christ continue to wash away our sin if and when we repent and ask
for forgiveness.
The writer was talking to people that were willfully turning away from Christ, more or less
claiming Him to be not the Son of God and Savior of the world. Does this mean they could never
return to Christ? No! It means if they died in Judaism the Law could not save them therefore
they would not have their sins forgiven. However, if they decided to return to Christ their sins would be
forgiven and they would be washed clean by the Blood of Christ and be saved.Now to answer your question; a willful sin is one that, lets say you were willfully on purpose committing
without regard to what you know to be right. As a true Christian we must always turn away from sin. turning away means repenting of sin. I believe you know what that means. The difference in you sinning and what the writer of Hebrews were talking about is the Jews was renouncing their faith in Christ. Either way there will be no more sacrifice for sin. Christ came as a sacrifice once and when He returns it will be to gather the faithful unto himself.

I think the question is too generalized for me to even have an opinion on it. Personally, I think I would have to know exactly what "sin" you was referring to.

I don't think knowing what the sin is matters, because sin is sin. What we might need to know is, why someone that is a Christian continue to willfully sin. If one continues willfully sinning they need to spend more time in the prayer closet and less time in the world.

These aren't exactly "willful sins" but I might as well tell it. Well, one kind of is although I try to ignore/resist the source...
Self pity
possible pride/idoltery
doubt
not trusting in God enough
not content enough
disobedient to parents
tormented by demons
Can't completly get out of my past

Sounds like you beat yourself up too much to me. Many of these things diminish as you grow stronger in the Lord. Satan wants nothing more then to tell you that you that you are horrible at these things. The past will becoming dimmer. Take my word for it. It use to haunt me from sunup to sundown. Now, I rarely think of it.

All those mentioned above can be blamed on one of them, "Not trusting in God enough".
How can one trust God for salvation but can't trust Him for the smaller things.
It all comes by faith, for without faith it is impossible to please God for he that comes to God
must believe that He Is and that He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb; 11: 6
If you can believe all the things God did that are mentioned in that chapter how can you not
believe in Him for your problems. Cast all your cares upon Him for He careth for you.
If we have problems we can Give Them to God and let Him take care of them. Come unto Me all you
that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and LEARN OF ME
for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest unto your soul.
After we have given all our cares to Him don't go and take them back. Leave them with Him and He
will cast them in the sea of forgetfulness.
