FAMILIAR SPIRITS OR "FAMILIARS" WHAT ARE THEY ?

A familiar is certainly a demon. The difference seems to be that a familiar is like an assistant to a person involved in the occult and the relationship seems to be more voluntary than in demonic possession which is more like a violent takeover. You will find the term familiar used traditionally to denote a demon sent to assist a witch in her spellcraft. Today many mediums use the term spirit guide, but it is the same thing.

A familiar spirit is synonymous with fallen angel and demon. Those three terms are talking about the same thing a fallen angel, a demon.

As others have mentioned it would appear that the ones called familiar spirits befriend (hahaha funny word to use because their only motive is to destroy every human being) befriend a person, so they can confuse others through them.

Also a familiar spirit is a demon/fallen angel that is familiar with your life, your weaknesses. We all have familiar spirits in that sense. These are demons that know us and know what fiery dart to throw at us. They know where to hit us with temptation, because they are familiar with our lives.

When someone goes to a medium that really has demonic connections and they are asked to conjure up the dead spirit of a person, is not the person that is either in heaven or hell that comes up, no, is the spirit that is familiar with the person’s life, so they can tell you things that are true about the individual life. Now, these are not biblical doctrines. I am writings things that we deduce through life experiences and logical conclusions.

However your priority for now is to seek God and not be consumed with what is what about the demonic. That is exactly where they want you to be and where they want to keep you.

You have sin against a HOLY, HOLY, HOLY God and if you do not REPENT OF YOUR SINS you will end up in hell. You as all of humanity have failed to obey what God has asked of us. You are now a creation of God. but you can become His daughter.

Humans and angels have rebelled against a good, holy, just and loving God who hates sin. His holiness and justice does not allow Him to overlook sin. Hence Christ, the God man, came to appeased God's wrath against us.

Anyone who does not know God as their personal savior is at enmity with God, they are actually enemies of Him. The Good news friend is that if you are here, if God has guided you here is not because of coincidence, but because He is working in you, He has lead you to this place where you will hear what He wants you to hear, so you can understand that you are a sinner bound to hell, if you do not Repent.

Repent Elida, you have sin against a holy God, Repent friend and He will step in, He is already working in your life by having you here. Now is up to you to Repent as the Holy Spirit brings into your heart conviction. God will give you a new desire and a new beginning in life. Accept Christ's sacrifice on your behave and publicly declare Him Lord and savior of your life among us. Make a public confession of your Repentance if you do, so the bounds of shame can be broken.

I pray by the authority given to the children of God that the Holy Spirit brings conviction so strong, so deep into your heart because of the sin in your life that will drop you to your knees asking God to forgive you. I pray this in the name above all names - In the name of JESUS.

THE LORD REBUKE YOU SATAN FROM THIS WOMAN'S LIFE.

As the name implies,farmiliar spirits are those spirits that resembles the true spirit of God.They are there to lead us astray and focus our attention to other things instead of on God.As christians ,Christ knew that such spirit exists, that is why we are told to examine every spirit to know the source.As a child of God that is fully focused on God such spirirt will not indwell in us because we are being led by the holy spirit.Let us pay attention in things of God and living a life being led by the holy spirit,these farmiliar spirits will run from us because there will be no room for them.Thanks.

Does anyone know what a Familiar is?


Your question is too broad what do you mean by familiar like in what context or content?

and how one can tell the difference between demonic possession

Much much pain that is not of God like you can not breathe or it is not loving or calming

as far as going through the purification process to become one in the Lord you may feel a burning sense but tis good.


or a familiar...OR are they the same thing?



Again I need more info on this

A familiar spirit is a demon that works with or assists a medium or witch. They are called familiars because they are familiar or "friendly" with the witch. It is not possession as the relationship is voluntary. In traditional medieval thought they often apeared in the form of an animal such as a toad or cat and the witch feed them with her blood and they assisted her in working spells. in essense they are the same as the spirit guides one hears about today.

hi aka leylalee familiar spirit are familiar because they know all about you . They use that knowledge off what makes you tick to make you fall they're demonic but the power in the name of JESUS and they will flee . you should go for deliverance prayer but do not fear thats not of GOD all the best GOD bless clark
