Ok, I've had a "demon" problem ever since 8th grade (which was the year 06-07). Although, I did have a demon problem when I was little (they made me think I hated God) but they stopped telling me that.
I see other brothers/sisters in Christ have went through this as well so I figure it's ok for me to bring this up.
They attack me constently. Telling me to do this and that, cussing me out, saying I'm going to hell and wishing me dead. Putting thoughts of people killing me and something brothers/sisters in Christ. And, they've even comented how people in Christ, they hate, they've been specific. Months ago I even had a dream that I think had a demon. I kept trying to wake up but it wouldn't let me. The demons have a tactic, they like saying "Bloody macaroni and cheese" if I try to resist they'll say "Bloody Mary"(a few times after they repeated it I started hurting). They don't like when I resist, they get meaner.
Some things gets them "strength" such as certain music that is really hard to avoid if in a certain store. I may not hear a song/s for months but if it shows up in say Walmart I'm trapped. It may take me back to those dreaded days of 8th grade/9th grade (whenever the music was the worst). For ex. "Under my Umbrella".
They can get very mean-how long until they leave me alone? I know that seems like a nonsence question...I mean well I need somehow to get them to leave.
I've delt with this for years.
Actually, you're very much mistaken. If you dive into the word, you find Scriptures saying as much & backing what David has said.
Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed. Pro 15:22
Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory. Proverbs 11:14
Through insolence comes nothing but strife, But wisdom is with those who receive counsel. Proverbs 13:10
Listen to counsel and accept discipline, That you may be wise the rest of your days. Proverbs 19:20
For by wise guidance you will wage war, And in abundance of counselors there is victory. Proverbs 24:6
David didn’t say anything about getting on medication. However, I’ll defend the medication aspect. There are many who have a chemical imbalance & without the medication, they wouldn’t have any type of life whatsoever. I’m sorry you had such a horrible experience with these doctors & medications but you can’t broad brush the entire medical profession based off of one experience. Nor should you be so bitter & use such harsh words towards another because you had such a bad reaction. David was only trying to be helpful & encourage this lady.
Nowhere in the Bible are we told to pray to anyone other than Christ Himself. Christ is the only way to God the Father. The ONLY way. Michael is God’s messenger, not ours. The prayers you pray to Michael fall on deaf ears. I believe if you went to the Word & studied it, you may find comfort that you yourself have been seeking for years. I pray you discover the strength & peace of mind that hasn’t been yours for however long.
Thank you David for your counsel.
I agree with what Tammy said. Michael should never be prayed to.
Revelation 19:9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” 10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”
Revelation 22:8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”
As for medication, I've been on it for years. I can't do without it. I can tell a huge difference if I miss a couple of days. That dark weighty cloud returns and starts pressing down where you can't feel God, can't hear Him, everything you read in the Bible seems to take on a negative connotation. Maybe you got some bad medication. They don't affect everyone the same. It took me a lot of trial to find what works.
And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.”
Now Isaiah had said, “Let them take a cake of figs and apply it to the boil, that he may recover.”
Luke was a doctor. Nothing wrong with doctors or medication. They don't always work but that doesn't mean it won't work for everyone.
