All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I'm honestly to scared to post this forum, but I would like clearance on it.  I truely hope that there are previous forums on this, although I could find none.

The question I am asking is, just what the heading says.

Living with so many things available on love making (and now I refer to marriage) because outside of the it is just sex or carnal lust, what is acceptable to God when it comes to love making with one's spouse?

Must it be plain and simple and to the point, so as to ensure future generations, or can one explore and expand and make it a special moment, in ones life with your life partner?

Comment, or no-comment will be appreciated.

Praise be to our Lord and Savior.

Hahaha you crazy Wicus. Heck no bro. Get buck wild with your wife dude.

As far as oral sex goes, you will find numerous opinions about the subject and I am not going to discuss it here, but will send you a private message on it. :) haha The Word is silent on this one.

As far as things that go beyond the natural use and can cause health issues, I would abstain from such.

Beloved we can be sure of one thing God's Spirit will bring you conviction as to what is acceptable and what is not.

One thing to keep in mind, we all have a moral structure and we should not force or violate the moral conscience of another. For example, you enjoy certain sex act, but the wife says, ohh no that is a sin and she is adamant about that being a sin to her, then we should love that person enough to let that go.

Blessings man and this is a good topic. We do have young members in the community, so all comments must use prudence and of course not be graphic, but good for you for being valiant and asking.

I say the following in conclusion - what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas ohhh wait not that hahaha What happens in the privacy of a couple is between them and God. Without getting in to deprave acts that the Holy Spirit will for sure convict us of.

Blessings.
Wicus -

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.
Song of Solomon, 1. 1

Song of Solomon 1:13
My lover is to me a sachet of myrrh resting between my breasts.

By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth.
Song of Solomon, 3. 1

Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.

thanks david im going to solomon now, my anniversary of 13yrs next month dont hurt to plant spices and fresh fruits in my garden (hehehe) lol i never really paid attention to the book of solomon thanks bro. david
Girl,

Solomon was on hit hahaha It is so so good to hear you will be celebrating your 13th anniversary soon my sista. Wow, I still remember when when you first came to the community and opened your heart about the many challenges you where facing and I am sure there are things here and there, but girl, much love to you for standing on the word and believing. What a testimony you shared with me the other day.

Our God is good and you are stronger because of it.

Remember this one:

love you thanks, my life is a testimony and its only going to get greater, i believe im going to help somebody with their marriage teach them how to hold on to GODS unchanging hand. now with solomon it can only get greater, because its eyes to what god intended marriage and the feeling of love to be, you know a lot of us like to hold back from our spouse, but GOD shows in the book of solomon enjoy (your spouse) key words. GOD intended for us to enjoy each other in many ways. this book just opened my mind up its not what i want, its what GOD intended for (marriage) you know a lot of people may feel the way i felt ,but now that i was introduced to solomon im going to spread the word. thanks david & wicus you guys have just blessed my marriage and opened my eyes to LOVE- GOD'S LOVE ok this is going to get deeper i'll come back at you guys later. im going to testify, my marriage is a testimony. if theres anyone thinking of divorce HOLD ON CHANGE IS COMEING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!! YALL ARE A MESS!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't laughed so hard in a while. I think too many of us are living in a level of spiritual bondage at our own fault because we DON'T do much independant reading once we walk out the church doors. God's people have a LOT more liberties than they realize. So Sis. Butterfly you just cultivate on, and Happy 13th.

Hope
I have been married to a man for 27 years. God is my true love. I believe that when we get married whatever we do to each other is like doing it to Christ for our bodies are his temple. My husband likes to express his fantasies during our love making, that should really be labeled as SEX. because I don't feel the connection of love when we are intimate. He doesn't see things the same way I do. I feel as though he is stepping over the bounderies when he brings the thought of someone else into our marriage. Fantasy or not,I feel it is wrong. and I feel dirty for it although I continue to let it happen to make him happy. I pray Gods blessing on you and your partner as well as on me and my partner. I don't want Gods temple which is my body sexually abused any more.

I agree, its the personality that intrigues me most, not necessarily the physical attributes a man has that attracts me, its more what I see from his facial features, like is he avoiding looking at me; because he's insecure about something? or is he in lust mode ? does he really act like a friend?  Is he genuine? does affection show/ flow freely or does he compliment in undertones??   Things like that can make him appealing or send up red flags;... flags arent a good thing, Run girl!~

Looks are just the Lagnniape' the icing on the cake so to speak, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and runs deeper wth personality which fadeth not,

Thanks to you all for broaching such a sensitive subject here; as I too had numerous questions regardng all of these areas.

Now if only Father could send the right one,....lol

Sister Linda I agree with you. We men are really facing a very difficult time, women are barely moving naked. Evil is everywhere on our TV screens, Internet, magazines, its so maddening.
Hello sis Brenda,

>>I believe that when we get married whatever we do to each other is like doing it to Christ for our bodies are his temple.

I believe your statement is correct up to a point, but love making is a very intimate act between husband and wife and thought I understand perfectly what you are saying I don't know if I feel comfortable with thinking that love making is like doing it to Christ in the marriage context. Christ has given us many libertie. We also have very crative minds.

I personally am not into fantasies that involve being someone else or asking my mate to impersonate someone fictitious or real, but I do not see anything wrong with fantasies and please let me explain.
I get to the house with a gift for me, which I give to the wife; I drove by Fredericks of Hollywood and got a sexy nurse outfit for her, but is really for me. Now I tell her to surprise me one day and to even let me forget I gave it to her and at her own timing to wear it for us.

Now I do not want her to be anyone else but her, my beautiful wife in a sexy nurse outfit, so I can be the doc hahaha

To me this is perfectly ok.

Now the extremely offensive and unacceptable fantasy is if the wife tells me, Hey love I would like you to be Bill from the warehouse store in South Gate. She would hurt me deeply with some horrible thing like that. If she tells me I want you to be my firefighter (which I have been in real life) that is cool with me, no problema. But bill or Mel Gibson , that is a real person, is not even acceptable in my book to asked her to be (just for the sake of argument, Nattily Portman or Angelina Jolene) a real person, who I have no chance of meeting in any way. That is lust and sexual immorality. But my first example, I say if both pities are willing to please each other in everything, then is perfectly fine. If my wife (I am not married, but have been before I was a Christian).

Blessings
I know this post is old, but I agree with David. I think once you're married, whatever floats your boat. Obviously bringing other people into the bedroom violates the sacredness and would be unpure. For anything else, if you're both comfortable, go for it.
God created sex for a wife and her husband. what goes on in the marriage bed is no sin.
