Aditi, you are not being attacked by demons. If you mean "fallen angels" when you say "demons", there is no Biblical reason to believe that demons are even capable of doing the things you describe. Relax. Pray. Relax. Before going to bed, fill your mind with thoughts of how much God loves you and cares for you.

Michael, there is every reason to believe she is under attack. I can reassure you that if you have't experienced some sort of spiritual attack on your life, (ie: health, finances, or even sleep) you need to check where your life is. The Word of God promises that if you serve God you will go through spiritual warfare. Its very disturbing to see how blind some "christians" are. We are nearing the end of time, according to the Bible, Jesus is coming soon and the signs of what is happening on earth is proof of that. Coalition joining up. Guess what the bible says about Gog and Magog, they are gonna attack Israel. Guess who Gog and Magog is after studying a little. Gog and Magog: (ie: Russia, E. Germany, Lybia, Ethiopia, Turkey, and Persia(Iran)) are going to attack Israel. Epesheians 38 & 39. I encourage EVERYONE to check your life and make sure nothing will cause you to be left behind when Jesus comes. Its going to take a purified life to get anywhere. Just because you did it years ago when you were a child or because you were once baptised in water doesn't mean you are going. You have got to live a holy, and pure life. You've got to ask everyday for His forgiveness because we are human and we do make mistakes. We are tempted and tried everyday to do somethign wrong. We have bad thoughts or say the wrong thing. Just because I ask my wife to forgive me one day doesn't mean i can go cheat on her tomorrow. If i were to hurt her feelings i have to go ask her for forgiveness. I can't rely on yesterday's grace from God to get me through today. I made mistakes today too. Its a new beginning everyday and a new chance to mess up, so, we must ask God every time we hurt Him by doing ngwrong, to forgive us. His promise is that He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from unrighteousness. But, its not a free ticket to knowingly and willignly commit wrong. Food for thought, when you do wrong, you are the one crucifying Him over and over.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

It saddens me to see Christians propagate this stuff. If the problem were really a matter of faith and practice, I would be content to see such things act as the focus of effectual faith, but it's not a matter of faith and practice, and such advice can only exacerbate the problem, by leading the victim or sufferer to believe that her thinking was correct and that the source of her problem does lay in some external spiritual force rather than within herself, perhaps within her own central nervous system. Aditi, if you are able, please get some good counsel from an educated and wise person whom knows both the Bible and real medicine.

Michael is very knowledgeable in the word and very sound in doctrine, but I am intrigued by the difference he appropriated to fallen angels and demons. As far as I can see and know they are one and the same. Fallen Angels are demons and they are very real. Anyone that says demons/fallen angels do not attack humans in a way you have describe has been blessed not to experience such ordeal, but the millions of testimonies of the attacks are not simply mental problems. They are real, i have been around folks who changed right before my eyes into horrible things. I have seen demons and challenged them and got my butt kick for doing it and i am not one to fall for the okey dokey. I examine all things and what you described is real and no doctor can help you with it. The doctor of doctors is the only one. I respect Michael's opinion and think he is very sound in doctrine, but we may have a slight differnce in belief here.
I had the same experiences. I used to stay awake as long as possible, because I was tire of the attacks. They attack men differently than they do women from the testimonies I hear, but the poking and paralyzing is the same. The first few times I was a bit afraid cause it’s a trip feeling them on top of you holding you paralyze, but after a couple of times I would get angry an muster all my strength to break free from their grip and I would start throwing punches at the cowers. I would tell them to go pick on the holy angels and not me. If they wanted to fight to go fight someone their own size or to materialize at my size so we could go at it, but enough of that I am just telling on myself, of how silly I can be hahahha but at that time I was heavily involved in sin and I opened the doors to them and hence my silly approached. Once I got right with God and I remember to asked God to rebuke them for me the attacks stopped.

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
You have received some wonderful advice. Some don’t believe in what sister Mary suggested, but it does help to claim the place you live in as a place where the Lord rules. I will suggest two things sis.
1. In the past you have shared with us you were heavily involved with psychic activity, so I would do some house cleaning in case you have any stuff from such. Throw away anything that has to do with demonic influence. Some in the family think objects do not attract demonic activity and think one should not worry about such things, but the experience of thousands have been different.
2. Sometimes the attacks are not brought upon by anything you are involved in. The Lord may allow them for multiple reasons. One of the most common ones among those reasons is that He wants you to learn how to stand and fight such attacks His way. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit”, says the Lord (Zech. 4:6). I can easily decern demonic activity because of my experience with the demonic. I know there smell, the sounds, how the posses can split their eyes to let you know they are indwelt by fallen angels. I do not fear them which came about such activity. God only allowed them to physically beat me up one time I was challenging them and mocking them in a sinful state, but when I am in the Spirit they have no authority. So it could be that God wants you to be equipped in such area for future purposes He has for you or simply so you learn how to battle them in the Spirit.
Abide in the Lord and use the Godly authority we have in Christ. But you are not losing your mind beloved. What you experience is very common. One very important truth to keep in mind is that demons can only do and go as far as God allows. The knowledge of the word is essential.
This is the kind of authority that we can have as the bride of Christ.

16 Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17 She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” 18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

I agree with David. I have also traveled this path. It is not easy, but it can get better. Just using me as an example...The first time a spirit approached me (I was a new Christian), I bolted. Older and wiser Christians helped me. I condemned myself because it was happening to me and because I ran. It took strong and steady Bible teaching. It took prayers and lots of love. I purged everything that gave the demons a way in. I didn't find all of it at once. It took a while. Consider the believers in Acts. They purged and burned their curious arts or whatever weird things they had. The Word spread widely and grew in power. The KJV says...So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. Acts 19. The Word can grow inside of us and the Word will prevail.
Another question, is this only happening at home or would it happen say if you spent the night at a hotel or with a friend?
I believe these are familiar spirits. They know a lot about you and the attack is personal. Please pray and look around your home. It's good to have your home blessed. Demons need a way in. Think of it as two rooms. You are in the living room and the demon is in the dining room. It cannot enter unless something gives it a way in. I'm not saying this to make you feel bad. It's easy to overlook little things or old habits. Maybe it's a book, a medallion, a crystal, a ring, I don't know. Is it something you're watching on tv? God will show you what it is. I had books and pictures I had to get rid of. I read the Bible aloud. Maybe volunteer to share a few Bible verses at fellowship or Sunday school.
I know you have the savvy to tell the demons to leave. You said they leave for a short time. You'll get stronger. Don't give up.

We had a huge a financial blessing this week. My wife and I were told we owed the IRS a check forr $798 because we owed last years taxes. WE knew we had payed the taxes but we couldn't find a receipt. We settled on the fact that come time to file our tax return for 2010 this year that we were gonna pay that much out. Well, glory to God that we found the check we had written last year to pay the taxes and I called up the IRS and we no longer owe that much money! PRAISE GOD!

Michael is a beautiful man of God and he has every right to believe as he does. This is a secondary issue and we continue to love and fellowship when there are differences in such. Michael is right, sometimes is not demonic activity, but people who have real mental issues or have been smoking too much dope hahaahaha
I love you all and we need to learn to disagree in some things and above all love one another family. Michael has share here for a while now and he is sound in his doctrine, I love him and appreciate his impute and we are given grace for one major purpose and that is to share that grace among us. I love you all. Michael has given sound counsel, for some people is not demons, is them tripping. So let us put the shot gun down and appreciate our beloved brother. :)

Family, thank you all for pearls of wisdom. I am so grateful for your prayers. My walk with the Lord has been fairly recent(just a few months), and I know I'm still a fledgling Christian right now. You cannot imagine how much comfort your words have been to me.
To answer some questions -
Bro David and Mary O- Yes, I was heavily involved in astrology and psychic networks till August this year. Since then, I haven't even looked at anything pertaining to the same, and it is all thanks to the Lord. He wiped it all away from my head to the point that I just tune off from websites, magazines, newspapers, tv ads etc. that propagate these things.
I currently live with my relatives who are practicing Hindus( staunch ones) and I have not disclosed the fact that I am in Christ to them. I will do that when the timing is right. In terms of demonic influences, the house I live is is filled with idols( a lot of them), reiki books, astrology charts etc. and once every few days, my aunt and uncle drag me to a temple( it's a Hindu place of worship). I usually manage to get out of it by pleading work/illness, but sometimes I cannot. So yes, I am pretty sure I have opened a door for the demon to get in. Please don't get me or my relatives wrong - they( and me included) grew up as practicing Hindus and it's considered normal, even respectful, to keep this stuff lying about the house, and there is no way I can house clean as much as I would like to throw it all out. At the same time, it is a massive struggle to leave my past behind, with these current influences still hanging over my head. I know clearly where I stand with Christ, but at least till I live with my relatives I have no control over what surrounds me.
My first reaction was to bolt( like you Mary:), but it's actually been following me everywhere. I am poked and prodded wherever I sleep, even if I change rooms. But I really do think the Lord is trying to make me stronger through this. I usually go to bed praying( well, crying mostly ) to Him to make it all ok..The attacks still continue, but they are NEVER more than I can bear. Last night, I fell asleep with the Bible in my hands, and I think it tried to loosen my grip on it. And everytime I rebuke it, it just comes back. So, I am abiding and trusting in the Lord , knowing that He is ultimately in control, and making me stronger both in faith and spiritual warfare.
And just to set the record straight, I have a pretty normal central nervous system, and I am definitely not crazy..hahaha..
And one final thing for now...I haven't been able to go to a church here because of my current living situation..For me, AAG is my church, my fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ, where I can get solid advice from mature Christians, and I will always be grateful to God for bringing me here, knowing that I would need guidance to grow. I love you all!

Well when you come to christ the enemy dosent like it because he once had you and wants you back . I was into soem things that i shouldnt have been in a while back and once in a while the enemy tries to throw me a curveball . The best way to beat him is not to get in the ring with him , he's already been beaten !! Let the lord fight for you and stay strong in your faith !
