All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Let's say ones loving mother or father dies without Christ. How does one then adjust to the thought of ones parent in Hell? It is bad enough to lose a dear parent without having to picture them in Hell for rejecting Christ. It is a blessing when one's parent is a Christian. Then one can rejoice that the parent went to Heaven. But what about if it is the other way around?

Linda,
I do know that God will wipe away our tears when we get to Heaven and I'm sure He comforts the hearts of believers who have lost a parent while still on earth. The other day I heard a non-Christian woman say that it has been 30 yrs. since her mother passed away and she is still missing and crying for her. Maybe there are some believers on here who can describe what it has been like for them since their mother of father passed away as far as how the Lord is comforting them.
