death
i just need someone who will help me to cope. my daughter was murdered last january. i find myself soooo angry at times cause the person responsible hasn't been caught yet. sometimes i want to die to be with her. i am raising her two dogs that i was watching at the time she went on vacation to miami. i don't have insurance to beable to see a shrink to talk to so maybe someone at this web site can help me. patsy

Patsy, welcome to the forum. I am fairly new here myself, but I think I can safely assure you of something on behalf of all the members.
Jesus Loves you.
I pray that you will find love and solace here in your time of need. Jesus said, "I will be with you always, until the end of the time". He is right there now and so very willing to be your best friend. If you cannot depend on anyone near you or if you have too much time alone, He is right there with you. Just turn to Him. Read your Bible, especially Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and the Psalms. Lean on Him, Lean on the Word of God in your time of need. Pray to the Saviour and ask Him for strength. Bless you. You are doing the right thing asking for help. He will help you, and many here will do the best they can. But when it comes to the quiet times in the night, you will need the strength that only comes from the Lord. Bless you in the Name of Jesus. May you find peace, comfort and all of the promises of our Lord and Saviour. Amen

thanks for taking the time to e-mail me . i give god all the prise and glory, he has walked with me through this horrible time in my life, and when i couldn't walk because i cry and get week he carries me, so that i am very thankful. he is every thing to me. i just want justist is that sooo wrong? patsy

I am so sorry for your loss. The Lord loves you.. He Loves you..He Loves you.
Patsy, rest in Him, call on Him. Jesus is the only One who can truly comfort you.
The Lord abides forever, He has established His throne for judgement. And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgement for the peoples with equity. The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble; and those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. psalm 9:7-10
Patsy, You are in a good place here... I pray God will use this place for you to be strengthened. I also pray that God will raise people up who are in your community where you live to support you through this difficult time.

dear carla, thanks for that, i know in his time he will reviel the person that murdered my daughter, sometimes i cry sooo hard that she is dead and the person that took her life is out their somewhere. i want justist. is that so wrong? patsy

my dear,killing yourself to be with her cannot solve the problem.who knows whether what your daughter needed from you now is to forgive her killer so she can make heaven.please try to forgive the person so you can have solace in God.take care.i know what you are passing through but do not kill yourself.

i would never kill myself then i wont go uo to heaven when god takes me home. sometimes i miss her sooo much that i want to hold her and touch her and tell her everything is going to be allright. but i can't cause she is gone. i have her memories i know, but that isn't the same. i hope you understand my feelings. patsy

I was going to skip over your comment, because I do not want to make this discussion something else than what Pasty intended it to be. However from your comment it appears that you believe that maybe there is an existence of an intermediate state. The bible states that it is ...destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, Hebrews 9:27.
My question to you dear friend is the following:
Do you believe in purgatory or something like that? There is nothing any human can do to help anyone get to heaven and there is no such thing as roaming spirits.

I will highlight some of your comments and respond to them immediately after.

We are here for you sis. God has brought you to a healthy community. But I hope you understand that . . . there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24 As humans we can only do so much, so I pray you run to the one that will comfort you in ways no human can, so in turn you can comfort others. You may not be even able to conceive comforting any one at this time, but sis God can use you to bless others as you run to Him and find your joy and peace in the one that knows you better than you know yourself.

Nothing that has happened without God being fully aware of it. You are His child and everything that affects you He is fully aware of. This has not happened to kill you or hurt you. If your daughter was a born again child of God, she is with Him. In a much better place. If we were able to ask her if she would want to come back to earth, I can guarantee you she would give you a loud- NOPE! This life is but a vapor. She is much better were she is at. She will have her marriage and her kids if she did not have that here in the new heaven and the new Earth. She is eternal as you are too. Your daughter's time on earth was not in the hands of a wicket person, but in the hands of the one that gave her life. He is in control not us.

God has been so good to us, He has saved us from His coming wrath against the wicket, but we must ask God for compassion for the lost. The person that murdered your daughter will one day stand before his creator. Let us hope that He repents and comes to the knowledge of God. Ask God to help you forgive Him. It does not really matter if he is caught or not. He already is caught by the best judge in the Universe. A righteous and Holy God. It is a fearful thing to fall under His wrath.

If you fall into the Why, Why, Why this or that (which is perfectly natural when we face this types of lost) you will not find peace. You must stop yourself from doing that and rather change the question to What Lord, What am I to learn from this, what is it that you want me to do with this tragedy. He wants you to allow Him to change this situation for His glory. To seek Him as you have never sought Him before. To build the relationship with Him that you are lacking, so you can truly understand and believe that your daughter is better off where she is and that this life is not all there is. The next one is. Run to Him and do not fall into a victim’s mentality. Your Lord's hands were not tied when this injustice happened. He was very aware and He allowed it. We live in a fallen world. But He has the last word in our affairs. He loves you even thought it may not seem like He does through these ordeals. He is trying to teach you a lot through this. Ask Him what that is.

Do you fellowship in a local church? You can ask your pastor for counseling sis. You don't need a shrink sis. I have nothing against Christian psychologists, nothing at all, but it is God that you need. He is the perfect friend, father, counselor and healer. We can help, but Christ can heal you.
Your healing can take 10 years or a few months. It depends completely in what you choose to do, with the truth given to you. Run to God. Surround yourself with worship music and live a life of worship. Pray without ceasing and above all else eat the bread of life by abiding in God's word. Built the relationship God has always wanted to have with you and find your purpose in Him.

thank you so much for all you have said. i have put my faith in god every day, i know that he's my everything. without him beside me i would have killed myself already.he keeps me strong. i live for the day that i'm raptured up to heaven and see my beautiful paula waiting for me. patsy
