All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Hi Please help me. . I want to understand why God allow satan to keep on kicking me when I am down. I know I can expect attacks from satan when I get closer to God, but it is just getting worse and worse financially, so that I am about to just give up everything, just to be left alone by satan. The car keeps on breaking down. I have to borrow money to get it fixed; even it is not my car. I am getting deeper and deeper into financial trouble. I have no one to depend on financially as I am single. Then I have to take care of my mother. (It is her car) Pray for me please because really I just cant continue.

Hi Gerda,

Have you ever thought about you allowing the devil to roost in your life? He knows by now that you are stating that God is allowing him to deal with you. We have to start-in humility-to recognize who we are in Christ. Take authority in Christ over the situations. I am not saying this in an attitude of arrogance, but we are more than conquerors in Christ, seated in heavenly places with God in Christ. The devil and his demons are under our feet, but we must remember that we are God's children. He wants the best for us and we need to perceive ourselves from that point. Jesus went through what we went through to give us life in abundance. Satan though is stealing, and what he would like to steal from you right now is joy and faithfulness. If he can get you to quit then he got you and he knows that will break our Lord and Father's heart. You are in the same situation that David often found himself. Read the psalms as prayers to our Lord and Saviour Christ, trust His Holy Spirit to lead, guide, teach and comfort you. Instead of giving in to the devil, confess to God that you feel done!! It is when we have done trying to save/control or solve situations and realise our weakness, that God can step in. As long as we know there is a back door in the form of mum or husband, friend or anything/anybody else, then we are not dependant upon Christ. He will quicken your inner person by His Word and Spirit when we trully tell Him we are sorry for trying by might nad/or power and not by His Spirit. Tell Him about your problems as you would have told your mother. Take prayer as communication in a civil manner-yet trully as emotional and honest-with God. I used to scream and shout at God in prayer because that's how I grew up under the ministry I was. Until we realise we need to talk to God and share with Him our problems and situations, the devil will be messing around with us and our destiny. Also try to look into the issue of curses. It might not be anything, but I am currently reading a book by Dennis Cramer on "Breaking Christian Curses" , also one by Larry Huch on curses. It's time we took back what he stole from us. Remember that whatever the devil is stealing from you, God will restore. There is no place/space in the devils household/kingdom to contain anything good. God's blessings and fifts to us are good and pure. Hold onto Christ Jesus, he knows our frame, flesh and weaknesses and promised never to let us down. Girl you take back what satan has been stealing from you all this time. When he comes in, like a flood the Spirit raises up a standard against him. He comes in one direction and flees in seven different ways. You are more than a conqueror sister. Go to the Word and take all His promises- they are yea and amen in Him-confess them even in the face of the enemy's onslaught day and night. The devil will want to have you walk in fear and despondency because he knows then he has you where he wants you. Remind satan about the Jesus Christ revealed in the book of Revelation. Tell him to his face that you have One mighty and powerful, able to save in Jesus. ALL THE PROMISES IN THE BIBLE ARE YOURS-for receiving, giving or fighting. I am not trying to preach to you for I am not even a preacher, but a brother who is done allowing the devil some play ground in his life. I believe God for a job for you, which He will give in His own unique way. Trust Him !! It really feels good sharing with you. God bless and keep you, may our Lord Jesus cause His face to shine upon you. May the blessings of Abraham flood your bossom and may the spirit of thanksgiving, praise and faith rise up in you-in Jesus' name!!!
Thank you so much. I am printing your answer and will read it over and over again. Thank you
Hi There,

I have been where you are and is currently still in the same boat. Some days I feel like giving up, especially when it seems as though there is no way out. But I have to be honest with you, I was in financial trouble every since the spring and I am still in financial trouble.. But I know God answered my prayers in several situations that came up in my life, and I really needed help. He answered me in ways I never expected for him to help me. What I did was pray and ask God to help me over come my feels, my lack of faith, and my unbelief. God knows our hearts and our struggles.
I hope that everything works out for you
Much Love,
DEE
Thanks Dee for your answer also.
Gerda,

I am sorry to hear how you are hurting over your financial situation and other hardships. I pray that God would provide your comfort and relief in your situation.

In contrast to what some others have written, I would caution being quick to blame Satan or God for your situation. The Bible teaches we live in a fallen world that has been wrecked by the sinfulness of people and is still influenced by the good or sinful decisions of people. As far as I can tell, the Bible doesn't promise anywhere that we will not suffer trials and hardships in this life. In fact. Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble" (John 16:33). The hardship you are facing may simply be due to the fact you live in this world!

Some of your suffering may very well be due to the decisions you've made in life. The choice of your life vocation, the choice to marry or not to marry. The choice to spend or not to spend. The choice of where you've chosen to live, etc. I have no idea. Consider perhaps that God may want you re-train to find better, more stable work. I am only speculating since I don't know your situation.

You may want to use this time as an opportunity to pray and ask God what he would like you to DO or CHANGE in your life to improve your situation.

May God comfort and encourage you in a very special way today!
Gerda,
I would like to encourage you to keep reading the word of God, hold it tight and meditate on it day and night, esteem the word of God more than what you see in the natural. Philippians 4:19 God says He shall supply all your need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. Read Malachi 3: 10 where God says He will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will be no room to receive it. I encourage you to read these scriptures, let them be in your heart and on your lips especially when somebody asks you how are you doing, when the temptations come to speak negative, speak agreeing with God's word alone, mostly do it in your private time when no one is there, except you and God your provider and your creator. Agree with God that He wants to bless you, agree that He loves you, agree with HIM alone, Delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Repent for speaking defeat over your life and turn to God who is able and more than able to fight your battle for you, bless His wonderful delightful name, the name of Jesus.
Love you my sister and I pray God to open doors for you and no man shut, to make a way for you to be provided for and to lift this burden off you once and for all where you know without a shadow of doubt that our father in heaven is your provider.
Hi! Ms.Berg
i know what it feels like,n i too am in a similar situation, things have started to improve now, every single day when i get up in d morning n before my feet hit d ground,i start thanking n praising God for all dat i have n see n appreciate the beauty in all dat he has already given me,i do this through out my morning n even when im brushing my teeth i look at myself in the mirror n say to my self, dat i am gods child n i nothing will ever touch me n harm me,n i belive and just not merely hope that the whole day will b marvellous because god has set his angles around me to protect me!!!!and more than the thought, what u feel is important, start feeling joyous, happy, excited, passionate, its a bit hard doin this....try, picture something beautiful, sing one of your favourite songs, vsualize kids, toddlers, gurgling playing in d meadows,so carefree...this will change ur emotional state and once this changes n u start feeling good
then next ,ask god aloud what u need the most, ask jesus, ask your guardian angel, say it aloud..
visualize and believe dat god has already granted this to u,do this with all your faith without doubt,do it with a lot of passion n joy, keep on visualizing n feeling the things dat u want do this in ur mind, you can act it out too, like when ur seated on your sofa imagine dat u have all the money u need and even more, because god will provide in plenty, theres no need to worry n doubt, how and from where it will materialize, just feel it,visualize and believe,do this even when you go to bed ....and thank god n praise him like you ave recieved it,it really works....it did for me!
Wonderful topic, and one that will touch many lives... including my own!! I started a post you might want to check on as well as your own, as we all learn and grow together. Here is the link:

I think we are saying the same thing....in different ways.

The advice that is coming forth is wonderful.... and will apply to my problem as well......

Thanks to everyone...:)
Hi Gerda,
Below are a few "Counts" for you to ease the pain,

Php 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Act 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Jas 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

My own personal count for you Gerda is "count" yourself fortunate in that the devil takes notice of you, if you were not on the right road, he would either leave you alone or encourage you to continue to do your thing and remain separated from God.

I will add your name into our family prayer time.

Blessings
Ron
