7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Believers form a family of brothers and sisters who are provided for by a heavenly Father. The call to be "saints" means to be set apart from the world. It is desirable and acheivable for all Christians.

31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?

32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone, and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Jesus wants His desciples to fully understand that His peace will allow them to remain stable in the turbulent world around them. And the reason that His peace will do this is because His peace has overcome the world.

9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Believers love Christ and believe in Christ even though they have never seen Him. As a result, they will gain salvation from the world that they are living in.

Anyone who wants to be a part of the kingdom of God must go through Him.
