Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

vs 4 According as he hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:

vs 5 Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

God knew that human beings would be guilty and persistent sinners, so He provided a way for sin to be removed, the record cleansed, and perfect righteousness reestablished. God loved human beings so much that He chose to include them in His family, not only as servants or friends, but as His sons and daughters.

" The unfailing love of the Lord never ends!  By His mercies we have been kept from complete distruction.  Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each day" (Lamentations 3: 22-23) NTV

Our Lord is able and His faithfulness endures forever.  This is reason enough to keep us on our feet praising and worshiping Him always.  God is LOVE.

Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

David begins this psalm with his own questions about fear and concludes it with another option for responding to fear that involves neither fighting nor fleeing. David has given the matter of fear more thought than most people, because he has already determined that God is his light, salvation, and strength. He will not stumble in the darkness, as many do. He has a deliverer and security, even during the times that aremost alarming.

7 Therefore, submit to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, double-minded people! James 4:7-8

So often, we and others, confuse what is meant to be plain and simple.

1 John 2:5, 6 5but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 6the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

Faith is not only a decision, but an ongoing personal relationship with Jesus that naturally issues in daily Christlike living.

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.

vs. 7 But if we wlk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

vs. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Walk in the truth and you will be assured of fellowship with God. Fellowship is something shared between believers as a result of a righteousness lifestyle.

Confess your sins, and He will forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Confession is an ongoing lifestyle, not just one time.
