THE DANGER OF MARRYING OUTSIDE THE WILL OF GOD: As Christian men and ladies we are not to go the way of the world, but to look unto God who is able to provide for all our needs; spirit, soul and body. Phil.4:19. In the area of marriage also God is the only one who knows the future and He knows who it is that will really be a good wife or husband to you, Gen.2:18, 22. At the beginning of the marriage institution, God brought the woman unto the man. Gen.24:7, 26-27, 40-48, 50-51. God sent his angel before Abraham’s eldest servant to take a wife for Isaac. God has not changed in wisdom and love, He still guides today and He willing to guide you in the choice of whom to marry. WARNING AGAINST UNEQUAL YOKE IN MARRIAGE: Gen.1:3-5. At creation God said let there be light and there was light and God separated the light from darkness. This shows that God does not want the light to mix with darkness that will be unequal-yoke. Amos.3:3. The word of God asked can two walk together except they be agreed. God is against unequal yoke in marriage, business, friendship, fellowship etc. 2Cor.6:14-18. Dt.7:1-4. The consequences of unequal yoke great and terrible: (1) Unequal yoke in marriage will hinder your spiritual progress. (2) It will expose you to the attack of Satan, demon and enemies. (3) It will make God to be unhappy with you. (4) It will lead you to backsliding. (5) It will hinder your prayer from being answered. (6) It may hinder you from making heaven at last. (7) It will cause shame and reproach. (8) It may lead to eternal damnation in hellfire if un-repented off. (9) It will lead to conflict and constant misunderstanding. (10) It will make you to weep most of the time than enjoy your marriage. (11) It leads to perpetual regret and sorrow. (12) Sometime it leads to high blood pressure and untimely death. WAYS OF FINDING GOD’S WILL IN MARRIAGE: John.3:3. 1Thess.4:3. Rom.12:1-2. Ps.32:8. Ps.37:3-7. To find God’s perfect will in marriage we need to follow these simple steps. (1) You must be genuinely saved from sin. (2) Be sanctified and purify. (3) Resolve to do all things to please God. (4) Pray with faith and sincere mind. (5) Prompt obedience to God in the clearly revealed will of God in the word of God. (6) Never rely on other’s testimony but on your personal testimony. (7) Seek counseling from the pastor or other leaders in the church who are spiritual when you are confused. (8) Avoid having an idol in your heart. (9) God sometimes can lead you in a dream but the dream must be in line with the written word of God. (10) God sometimes leads through a still small voice within you. 1Kings.19:7-12. (11) Avoid applying worldly methods and worldly wisdom. (12) Avoid covetousness and love of money and self will. (13) Avoid pressure from people and from your flesh. Patiently wait on the Lord God still leads today and He will lead you to His perfect will in marriage. WILLINGNESS TO FOLLOW GOD’S PERFECT WILL IN MARRIAGE: Ps.143:10. Mt.26:42. John.6:38. As you seek the perfect will of God in marriage you must willing to really follow the will of God wherever He leads. There are people like Balaam when God said clearly don’t go because of their covetousness and love for money they will go back to God still asking can I go. Because their mind is on the money therefore they are not sincere in following the perfect will of God but are only looking for excuse to do what they actually want to do and to such people the Lord will say go o that is not my perfect will but permissive will. May God help us to really be willing to follow nothing but the perfect will of God. IF YOU ARE NOT MARRIED YET, FOR YOUR OWN GOOD SEEK TO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD AND BEWARE OF GOING INTO MARRIAGE PLAN WITH A SINNER OR A BACKSLIDER AS A BELIEVER. AND IF YOU ARE MARRIED ALREADY TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO GOD IN PRAYER FRO DIVINE INTERVENTION.

One would have to pray hard and repent for this mistake asking God to lead and guide them out . Plus pray his protection over you".

I AGREE COMPLETELY WITH THIS!!!! I HAVE MADE THIS MISTAKE MORE THAN ONCE!!!! 1ST AND FOREMOST: PARENTS, TEACH THE WORD OF GOD TO YOUR CHILDREN AT AN EARLY AGE AND PRAY OVER THEM DAILY IN EVERY AREA OF THEIR LIVES ESPECIALLY THIS AREA. PRAY FOR THE WILL OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE AND ABOVE ALL LISTEN TO WHAT HE IS SAYING!!!!! MY RULE OF THUMB IS , "IF IT'S NOT RIGHT, PUT THE BRAKES ON, NOW!!!" THIS GOES FOR EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE!! WAIT ON THE LORD!!!!! SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO WAIT , WAIT WAIT , WAIT!!! FOR THE ONE HE HAS FOR YOU, BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT. WAITING IS VERY HARD, AS I TELL MY GDAUGHTER, LEARN TO WAIT NOW, BECAUSE YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WAITING ON SOMETHING!!! GOD ALWAYS HAS NOTHING BUT THE BEST FOR HIS CHILDREN. WHEN WE GET AHEAD OF GOD, WE MAKE A DISASTER IN OUR LIVES, NOT JUST FOR US BUT OUR CHILDREN. ONE BIG THING THE LORD SHOWED ME, KAY YOU HAVE PUT HAVING A HUSBAND AHEAD OF ME!!!!! YOU CANNOT PUT ANYONE OR THING ABOVE GOD!!!!!!! THAT IS VERY DANGEROUS!!!! SOMETIMES WE DON'T REALIZE WE ARE DOING THIS. I THOUGHT IF I JUST HAD A MATE I COULD BE A BETTER CHRISTIAN, MOTHER AND SO ON. WRONG !! WRONG !!!!! WRONG!!!!!!!! 1ST EXAMINE YOURSELF, YOU MUST BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF AND WILLING TO ACCEPT THE TRUTH, GOD WILL SHOW YOU AND MAKE IT CLEAR. DO NOT IGNORE THE RED FLAGS!!!!!! your so right in my past i have chosen to have a relationship with a few fellas that i clearly knew were not belivers and proberly never will be,boy i and my children have payed the price its socity that preashurizes people into having a partner! i've been on my owne now for some time ,still skooting for a mate but just latly relized that if the fella dos'nt belive in the lord its not going any were! and you have just comfermed this for me thank you i will ask him to send you a blessingx(sorry bad at spelling)

Yes! Yes! This is very danger. Once in my life I did and will never do this again, because if it is not in the will of god, one do not know what or who you or marrying. The worst mistake I could have done. Anything that not in the father will believe me, it is not going to work. This is why he tells us not to be unequal- yoke. And how can to walk together except they agree.
