All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

And the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s Word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!” Mark 4:20
As we seek the most effective way to, “Work our Faith out.” We look to God’s Word for what we must do. With a humble heart, we yield and Trust putting our Faith in The Authority of His Word. We are shown the effects and encouraged by the levels of return. How are the best ways we can make sure, we are positioned to receive a yielding such as these? What steps should we take; continue to take, so we are the “good soil” for His Seeds to fall onto?

my brother what I feel is that we as true Christian should yield to the Holy Spirit ,and let it guide us to fore fill the pure word of our Heavenly Father ,and this pass election show that we have got a lot of growing in the GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF OUR BIG BROTHER JESUS THE CHRIST ,MOST PEOPLE FROM WHAT I BEEN READING ,WHO PROFESS TO BE CHRISTIAN JUST THREW LOVE ,RIGHT OUT THE WINDOW ,WOW ,BUT THEN AGAIN IT MADE THINK BACK TO PETER AT THE TIME OUR BIG BROTHER TOLD THEM ,WHAT WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN TO HIM AND satan GOT PETER TO REBUKE JESUS AND JESUS CALLED IT LIKE IT WAS ,WHEN HE TOLD satan TO GET BEHIND HIM ,SO MANY FOLKS ALLOW satan TO USE THEM,SO I'M PRAYING FOR ALL THE SAINTS IN JESUS NAME

13For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” 15But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

16But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. 19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. 26Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.     GALATIANS 5:13-26

As I read your posting and other's reply I can understand that we can see our self as "soil". The seed of the Holy Spirit is within us. It is up to us to nurture this seed. By following God's word and living in His grace. God never leaves us, it is us who step away and deny His grace. It is us who what to do it our way. By doing this we are no longer nurturing the Holy Spirit or following God's word. So I can relate to what you’re saying.

Forgive me I have been laying low for a few days, or I would have responded quicker. Isa 28:24 Does a farmer go on plowing every day so he can plant? Does he continue to break up the soil and make furrows in the ground? As we yield our flesh and allow ourselves to be broken up, as ground that is worked goes through. Then with the Word, use it to add nutrients, again as we add fertilizer to soil. Then as the farmer who is diligent with his land, and knows what needs to be done, to bring forth a good yield. We in obedience to His Word, humble ourselves before Him, apply the Word mixed in with Faith. We move past a "possible" outcome in our thinking. And, we stand with a solid exception to not only be worked into becoming good soil, but a fertile soil. Where the seeds of His Word are planted"...and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted."
In the same way we are "Born Again," we can go from common dirt, having little to no worth. To becoming rich fertile soil, as we surrender self to be broken up by His Will and Way. We must always remember, "So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is significant, but God, who keeps everything growing, is the One Who matters." 1Cor 3:7 It will always be the humble heart, yielding itself to The Spirit, Believing and having Faith in Jesus Who is The Word, and Trusting in the Loving Hands of Our Father God, Who changes us into good soil so that when the seeds are planted, watered, and cared for He will bring forth a harvest all to the Glory of Our Lord.
