All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Ok, i will start the new year out with a question, yes marty has another question for my family, i have always wondered why satan existed.  i heard a sermon this evening by Pastor Jack Graham on this very subject. Well to paraphase he said that God made angelical beings with a choice (just like he did with man) and satan's choice was to be as powerful as his creator(thats when the whole problem started).  For me this makes sense.  This is the same tactic he used on Eve in the Garden regarding the fruit from the tree of life. What do you guys think?

I think this is why obedience is so important if we obey the word of GOD our choices will line up with his will for us and not the will of our flesh or satan ,but a great question because God knows all so when he create satan he knew that satan was going to do what he did but it still was use to for fill God plan of JESUS BEING OUR REDEEMER ,have a most blessed New YEAR LOVE YOU ,YOUR BROTHER IN CHRIST JESUS

The bible has the answer we just have to ask God to help us understand it. Some say God created the devil by casting
him out of Heaven, God us in control,I have read from one of the church Fathers that Locifer was actually cast out by
the will of zmjcheal tr Argangel....... Michael and his could not stand the pride if the devil,,,,,, REVELATION 12 : 7 And
then there was a great war in heaven ; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his
Angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven, 9 , And the great dragon was cast out , that
Old serpent , called the devil , and Satan which deceiveth the whole world . He was cast out into the earth, and his angels
were cast out with him. the devil made a hugh misake. Buy so did Adam and Eve.

When God created Lucifer "bearer of light" I have heard it was called the "beautiful one."   As a archangel I remember hearing that he led Praise and Worship.  He was music, with every move he made notes; chords were heard.  I need to look that up though.

Ezekiel 28 speaks about it's fall {i believe}, and Jude 1.  Pride is seen through and through. As Alcedes says, obedience is so important, because pride in wanting to be like God, which also means not wanting to be under His Authority.  Which points to, our need to be broken; humble before God.

satan is unable to create anything, all it is able to do is to corrupt things.  Pervert things, ideas, even satan is a perversion of Lucifer.  it corrupts whatever it can.  Yet, Praise God!  Jesus defeated it.  it may be able to corrupt, however Jesus is able to Restore and Protect us.         Jude 1:23-25

Save others by snatching them from the fire [of hell]. Show mercy to others, even though you are afraid that you might be stained by their sinful lives.

God can guard you so that you don't fall and so that you can be full of joy as you stand in his glorious presence without fault.  Before time began, now, and for eternity glory, majesty, power, and authority belong to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Glory to God, we have Holy Ghost showing us the way.  We are able to help those who seem hell bound by their actions.  We need not worry of being stain {led astray}.   Look forward to see what others think

According to scripture the fall of Lucifer: aka Satan, devil, great dragon, and ancient serpent; (Rev 12:7-9) had his fall, it's recorded in Isaiah 14:12-20. He was one of the exalted angels, who out of pride, wanted to become God. Therefore; God cast him to earth. In Ezekiel 28:14-19 , the references is to Satan's pride being his downfall.

I agree with Pastor Jack Graham that Satan and all beings(human and angelic) have a free will to make a choice.  Does God know what our choice will be? Absolutely!

According to Ezekiel's account, Satan was already in the garden, therefore; he had access to the tree of knowledge of good and evil prior to Adam and Eve.  I believe Satan used his free will to eat of the forbidden fruit out of rebellion and Satan's eyes were open, much like Eve's.

Genesis 3;1-19  How did Satan know that Eve would not die, (so to speak, yes I know  it is refering to a spiritual death, but Eve did not know that at the time, she was perfect until she gain the knowledge through the forbidden fruit.) Satan may have known how to deceive Eve because of his very own rebellion and sin of taking from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Thank God,  that Our;  Creator, Ancient of Days, Mighty God,  had another plan ready even at the creation of the world! His name was and is JESUS.

Your welcome, glad it help!
