Hi again Maggie, sorry for the gap in messages. You know, as I said earlier, I can relate very much to your pain. I have come to the conclusion that some people are given a heavier burden than others - and I've decided that it's in fact a compliment from God. He never gives us more than we can handle, as long as we go to him with the pain of the load - that's my understanding. Having said that I honestly believe He only tests the ones He considers worth testing. Don't mean to sound arrogant, but I believe that. I also thank God that this life is very short and just like you I am very homesick for heaven and my Father. Bring it on... Don't feel you're alone Maggie, you're not. God bless you. I have added you to my prayer list. love in the Lord, from Damask.
i know God is still writing your love story...

Thank you Maggie! Do not be hard on yourself, remember you are free in Jesus Christ! That means free of all the baggage, free of the mistakes that have already been forgiven. I know I struggle to _accept_ that forgiveness. I pray that your precious daughters return to you and that all hard-heartedness will melt away in your relationships and that you can all have new beginnings. Thanks for your encouragement, prayer, honesty and friendship!! Your lessons will help not just you but others, so I thank you for sharing.
In Christ,
Lurana
Hello there! Some of what you said to Melanie about yourself resonated with me. In my very painful marriage struggles to an unbeliever, I feel about as alone sometimes as if I were divorced. But I often sense that this loneliness is Jesus's way of drawing me closer to Him. I pray that He will fill every emotional need in your time of being "single".
Deuteronomy 31:8

FISHERMAN
A guy is 72 years old and loves to fish.
He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say,
'Pick me up.'
He looked around and couldn't see any one.
He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again,
'Pick me up.'
He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog.
The man said, 'Are you talking to me?'
The frog said, 'Yes, I'm talking to you.
Pick me up then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen.
I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!'
The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front pocket.
The frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said?
I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.'
He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, 'Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.'
With age comes wisdom.
