If that is so, verses 5 and 6 should be interpreted together, which means that for a person to be saved or born again he must, 1st, have a physical birth (born of flesh, of water), and 2nd, having come into physical existence he must make a personal decision to be born of the Spirit (born again) to have eternal life. Thank you. The scripture you sent to me really spoke to me and encouraged me...particularly the one that is based on Habakkuk.. eyes off of my cirsumstances and onto God. Thank you so much dear brother for your beautiful encouragement....my prayer is that this will display God's Glory in my life...and that Craig will see Jesus through it all. I am praying for healing...but mostly for God's Glory to be revealed in that!

He gave as reference text John 3:5. Is this the same as salvation in Jesus Christ by faith alone? Please explain. Thanks. God bless.
