I am thinking of many including Pauls famous speech...for those things I would not do I do.

And then you state: I didn't hear him say anything about somebody cutting him off in traffic?

So which is it? Either a new creation is suddenly made perfect never ever ever getting peaved or irritated ever again and always at peace because the Holy Spirit dwells in them or they can still lose their peace because like Peter, they took their eyes off Jesus and began to sink...or began to find themselves grumpy and irritable from dealing with irrational people.

That makes us sound like God's. Saved and so completely changed in an instant that we never need call on Him to help us be transformed more and more into His image.

If this isn't what you keep saying then why are so many here reading it that way? If it is then I will come back with your own words....Please provide scripture to support your reasoning.

Hi Watch,

The one thing I agreed with him on was the story of the drug czar being "saved" at age nine, and being in heaven in spite of his evil, ungodly life. "Once saved, always saved" is the dogged belief of a particular sect, that once a person "commits" his/her life to God, they're saved  no matter how they live their life. Not Biblical. He's right.

I don't agree with the "feel good" ministries of those who preach it. Not Biblical. But, I don't wage war on their motifs. I'll leave that to Almighty God.

I'm trying to find LOVE in this type of Lord's message. Hard to convince me of any "faith cometh by hearing" here.

Finally, the apostle Paul, in jail was talking about his friends and enemies preaching on the outside while he was incarcerated, says in Philippians 1: 18,"What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice." (NKJV).

So I guess this man is not all that bad..............

Grace and Peace.

'The way he states this however is that because we become a new creature that we will never again react to any hurt or step out of line with the Spirit, etc....and that's not Biblical."

Where in the Bible does it make this contradiction?  Because the Bible says that those who are a new creation, who are saved, being saved, do not step out of line with the Spirit.  Do you have a particular Scripture that you are thinking of that says this is not true?  Perhaps you are thinking of the Scripture in John where it says we have an advocate IF we sin?

Seek,

We must be discerning under those we sit and listen to according to the Word.  He's not jealous of the prosperity of others, he is saying that those who teach will be judged according to the Bible of a more severe judgment & those who sit under them are hearing what "itching ears want to hear".

We must stand for the Word, stand by the Word, and live and conduct ourselves according to the Word.  These are wolves in sheeps clothing standing at the wait to slaughter the sheep...in other words to lead them into deception.

I would really hate to be in this guy's shoes at the judgment seat of God. He is saying they are not preaching the Gospel, and neither is he, all he is doing is condemning others for the way they preach. Sounds like he is jealous of the prosperity of others, and is ignorant of what the Word is saying. I never heard him use scripture to justify his ranting.

Sorry for guy's like this. What will he say when God asks him what did you do for the kingdom? I preached condemnation to most of the prosperity preachers, and didn't even have to use scripture to do it!!

Good, but my only concern is the ending.

Salvation is not merely the change of practice, it's not turning over a new leaf, it's not new year's resolutions, it's not this strong conviction to want to be a different person.  it's a supernatural work of God whereby someone really does become a new creature.

Earlier in the video he speaks of the drug addict's funeral and talks about those in sin, but this last statement can leave people believing they're unsaved just because they still react to hurt or because they still get irritated by a driver who cuts them off in traffic.  They were saved.  They stopped doing drugs, they started reading their Bible, attending church regularly, cleaned up.  They became a new creature.  The way he states this however is that because we become a new creature that we will never again react to any hurt or step out of line with the Spirit, etc....and that's not Biblical.
