"For clarity, ning offers the option to close comments completely as a protective boundary, and applying safeguards asbprotection isn't being cowardly, but I don't close off all comments, but leave it open to my friends on the site. I'm not sure why you have so much anger and resentment towards me personally. I have addressed beliefs only. We are commanded in Scripture to but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15, ESV. Yet, when asked about beliefs and what you teach, younget very defensive. Why?"

Amanda,

I don't have anger & resentment towards you.  I have none towards anyone here,  Please know this.

I fixed it...Everyone's reply will be automatically posted.

Additionally, isn't moderating comments a self protective boundary just as much as partially closing comments?

You're right, I'm going to open them completely up.  I'm not into censorship and feel bad that people take the time to write replies when they have to wait for approval.

Thankyou Amanda

Seek,

"Watchman would you please respond to the question I've now asked I believe 3 times? IE:

Are you saying you think that when someone is saved that they become such a new creature, perfectly Christ like that they can no longer be hurt by what others say or do, no longer fight any battle in their minds against things they used to do because they no longer desire those things and aren't even affected by them...that they are made whole, complete, perfect then and there and never need to grow up in the Spirit?"

Seek, I'm very sorry, I didn't realize you had asked this question 3 times.  Please accept my apology.  What I think is that they become a new creature, the old is gone.

2 Cor. 5:17-Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

I do believe that we are made whole.  Let's go a little deeper tho, the Bible says that we will be tempted, being tempted isn't a sin, giving in is.  We are sanctified by His Word.

You see the beauty about Christ Jesus is that He doesn't just give us a half new life, or partial new life, He gives us a WHOLE new life.  A new life means freshness, a wellspring flowing up and out of our hearts. So much happens in that moment, but that does not neglect our responsibility to honor our God with our lives.  How do we do this, we get into His Word that Sanctifies us. This constant tension upon being called to live godly and holy lives is getting meshed with our old lives, but the Word tells us that our old lives are GONE.  We have climbed upon the cross and our old man is dead, we are no longer living for ourselves, we live for our Creator, God, the One Who is deserving.  My life is nothing, means nothing, will be nothing if I don't have that relationship.

Hurt?  Sure, we all feel it at some point, I feel it right now.  Does that mean I'm sinning, because I've been hurt?  No  It's when we react to that hurt and try to be vengeful or hateful to that person for hurting us.

But does that have dominion over me?  No.  There is always need to grow in the Spirit, to sink those roots down deep into the "Root of Righteousness" which is Jesus Christ.  As we all know a tree will topple over quickly in a storm if it has no root, same as with the seed [the Word].

I love you very much Seek

Paul Washer... as far as I know , isn't talking about the new born babes on milk taking steps out of alignment. paul washer is talking to the people who look stink act and think like the world the ones who doensnt have a clue about who even Jesus is but believe they are born again. He is talking to the ones who simply believe saying a sinners prayer is all that is nessary to be born again. He isn't like that.  He cares enough for the people to let them know that they should know Jesus and His ways... not be so comfortable in their ways and mabe lost.  I don't just listen the videos that has been edited by youtube posters. . He isn't talking about a Christian who sometimes stumbles and then gets back up. I wouldn't listen to such a person who would knock the babes in Christ.

As I said, seems many are getting that message from you and is why they keep disagreeing with you. But if that's not what you're saying and you would clarify your stance it may end some disagreement IF you truly want disagreement yo end.

I have listened to several of Paul Washers videos.. I am not sure if I had listened to this one yet though. Thank you for posting.

I have attached the longer version...probably won't change minds, but might see what he's saying more clearly.

Sorry Amanda, I would never delete anyone's comments because I disagree...  And like many of your blogs, I would like to just say what ever it is I'd like to say and close comments....  But in Truth, I would find it hard to close all comments to something I'm saying, writing, or posting,  I'm not a coward, I always seek the Truth.  I do, however, work...so if I don't approve something right away, it's usually because I don't have a lot of time to be on here.  I find it hard to reply to many comments and many comments I probably won't reply to, some because of time constraints and some due to the content and inuendo's of the reply that I choose not to defend myself.

I only pray that the Word is magnified and that the Lord God Almighty exhalted above all.
