All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

2 Samuel 12:16-22

19 David noticed that his attendants were whispering among themselves, and he realized the child was dead. “Is the child dead?” he asked.

“Yes,” they replied, “he is dead.”

20 Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped. Then he went to his own house, and at his request they served him food, and he ate.

21 His attendants asked him, “Why are you acting this way? While the child was alive, you fasted and wept, but now that the child is dead, you get up and eat!”

22 He answered, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, ‘Who knows? The LORD may be gracious to me and let the child live.’

There are some unanswered or negatively answered prayers, these shows the temperament and the dedication a person could have with God when things have fallen apart. When what you hoped for will never happen in your life. When it is already too late.

Will you be ready to serve God even in these kinds of situations, I ask myself…

What would happen if Jesus were in this situation, I don’t have to guess he did come across this situation. An unanswered prayer from Jesus

Luke 22:42

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

But  Our God is a loving God though we get negative results for some of Our prayers he will by His Almighty hands give us everything we need, when he was ready to give His one and only son for us.

Romans 8:32

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
