The rapture and persecution-here's some encourgement

I was laying down today. It was too cold to get up and I was still tired. I was talking to our Abba. I forget the discussion but I remember this coming to my mind.

We all know the rapture is very near. But, persecution seems very close as well.

Here's some encourgement. If we do so happen to be facing some kind of persecution and the rapture happens, whether it's prison or something harsher, who knows, there's good news. :)

Let's say we're being persecuted. Than all of a sudden "bam!" The rapture hits. The person/s causing the persecution will see us vanish right before their very eyes. Think how great a testimony that would be.

It'll already happen because our brothern overseas get persecuted everyday. They are killed, imprisoned, beaten, tortured and go through so much else! The rapture will happen when such atrocities are occuring. Their perscuters will see the people they are torturing will all of a sudden be gone.

I was just thinking how awesome of a witness will that be? And if persecution comes to America before the rapture than we will disappear right in front of the eyes of those who are opressing us.

Wow, this is exciting. For that would be such an awesome witness for Jesus! The very ones who they are hurting will all of a sudden vanish into thin air! Poof! Than in the twinkle of an eye we'll be home. Howalluya!

In the incredible prophetic vision God shared with him, John answers your question:
"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth ... Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.'" (Revelation 21:1-5)

The description that the Prophet John provides in Revelation of what awaits us, when Jesus comes again, and God creates a new Heaven and a new Earth and joins them together, where we will live in glorified resurrected bodies, is beautiful and majestic beyond belief.
