All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

No one can do this for you. Often in life we try to avoid the hard place. We want problems and situations that we find appalling to just go away if we simply ignore them. But that doesn't work. Every person must come to that place where he/she must take responsibility and then action. No one can take the course of action that you must take for yourself. No one can do for you what you must do for yourself. Anything less that your effort and your input, will be a temporary solution at best. Jesus told the disciples that they must take up their cross and follow Him. Must not we do the same?

Again, Charlses thanks so much. As the Holy Spirit leads, I will keep writing. I want so much to be an inspiration to God's people everywhere. After all God's people are my people too. Thanks for sharing your testimony to this particular lesson.

Dear Marci

Another excellant post . I myself have just come through a ' wilderness' experience where I felt so far from God. After much struggling with self , satan and God I finally had to ask God to just tell me what I had to do to get where I wanted to be. He graciously let me know that in surrendering all to Him I had finally done exactly what He required to have the renewed relationship with Him that I was seeking for so long.

I have learned through this and many others things the Lord has let me go through that we must be 'active ' in our pursuit of God. And , as you have so well stated, we must take our own actions to deal with our own situations. No one can face our trials for us , but God is more that willing to lead us through them when we commit to dealing with them.

God bless you, my friend and keep up the good posts.

Thanks so much for that feedback, Tigner. I too used to try to avoid that hard place. And like you I discovered that it wasn't all that bad once I dealt with it. It has made me stronger. I am enjoying my journey with Jesus. Your comment is a blessing to me.

Marci, you are correct! I was that person for many years. Thanks be to God for his patience, mercy and grace. Once I took the cross, what appeared to be difficult actually was not! has it all gone away no, however The Father, Son, & Holy Spirit has made my journey much easier!
