All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
The time for repentance is today, for we have no promise of a tomorrow. There are many in this life who walk day after day, and still have no salvation, or deliverance, from the things to come. Christians, and the lost, are all in need of repentance.

Repent; In theology, to sorrow or be pained for sin, as a violation of God's holy law, a dishonor to his character and government, and the foulest ingratitude to a Being of infinite benevolence.
To feel pain, sorrow or regret for something done or spoken; as, to repent that we have lost much time in idleness or sensual pleasure; to repent that we have injured or wounded the feelings of a friend. A person repents only of what he himself has done or said.

The Christian repentance.
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
We do not, as believers in Christ, ever forget who we are in Christ. We are to be a light to not only the world, but also to the other believers. Our attitude and life style, must not bring blame or shame to our most high calling in Christ Jesus.

We are to be a people, that when another is down and sad, we should be the ones that they turn to for prayer and an uplifting of their spirits. If we cannot shine as a light, no one will believe that we are who we profess to be.
We must make our calling and election sure, threw, prayer, fasting, reading, contemplating, and rightly dividing the word of God. Our commandment from Christ; “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

Are all these things within you, are they see able to others, are you recognized as a true believer?
Faith(Belief; the assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, resting on his authority and veracity, without other evidence; the judgment that what another states or testifies is the truth.),
Virtue,(Moral goodness; the practice of moral duties and the abstaining from vice, or a conformity of life and conversation to the moral law.)
Knowledge(A clear and certain perception of that which exists, or of truth and fact; the perception of the connection and agreement, or disagreement and repugnancy of our ideas.),
Temperance(Patience; calmness; sedateness; moderation of passion.),
Patience(The quality of bearing offenses and injuries without anger or revenge.),

Godliness,(A religious life; a careful observance of the laws of God and performance of religious duties, proceeding from love and reverence for the divine character and commands; Christian obedience.)
Brotherly Kindness( Act of good will; beneficence; any act of benevolence which promotes the happiness or welfare of others.),
Charity(In a general sense, love, benevolence, good will; that disposition of heart which inclines men to think favorably of their fellow men to think favorably of their fellow men, and to do them good. In a theological sense, it includes supreme love to God, and universal good will to men.).

“For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.”
If we are or should I say cannot sin, then these verses would not have been instructions to the Christians. We all have faults and short comings.
Each and every day, I ask the Lord for forgiveness for any sins, or any wrong thoughts that I have committed. Our thoughts will take hold of us if we re not diligent in watching over them.

“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
If we give diligence to make our calling and election sure, we will love our neighbor as ourselves, love and honour our mother and father, but most of all we will live as Christ commanded us to do. We all have sin in our lives and things that are not pleasing to God, so, as Paul taught, “Let us go on to perfection.”

The Sinners Repentance.
“And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.”
“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
Is the life you live, according to the will of God? Are you happy with your life as it is, or is there something missing, a hope, a future, or is there a life of regrets?

You say that you do believe in God, but do not follow what His word tells us to. Then you are being deceived by the prince of darkness. You are being lied to and misled by forces that are unseen, who do not care for your very soul.

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”

There is a record being kept, in the Kingdom of Heaven, two books that hold the life of each individual. These books keep a record of every idle word that you have spoken, each act that you have done, every sin that you have committed, and a record of weather you were accepted into the beloved, as a child of God.
To be in the presence of the Lord, as a child, you must repent and believe in Christ Jesus.

It doesn't matter if you believe or not, these books tell only the truth. They bring about no accusations against you, but merely the works of what you have done with you life that God had given you.
The time of refreshing shall come, neither early nor late, for the Lord God knows when He shall send Gabriell down, to declare time shall be no more. Look at this world today, is it safe, can you walk down the streets at night, can you buy and sell as you used to?

Is there more violence within the world, that you fear for your family and yourself?
I understand that there are many religions in this world, but I am not talking about religion, I am speaking of Salvation for all who will believe in Jesus.

Look closely at every religion, is there any that promise a life after death, if so, does it promise forgiveness for all sins, can it justify itself with words of love, and understanding, for all mankind, or does it declare that all who will not bow down to its society will be killed in this life?

Do these religions declare a Saviour for all the world, does it have words like repentance, salvation, refreshing, deliverance and resurrection? Do these religions declare that murder is justified by God to separate the believers from the unbelievers? I think that you should, look very, very closely at these so called messengers of God.

For as it is written, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
Also, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

This is your soul that we speak of, research, study, compare and make a decision, for the time is coming that there will be many who will seek out the Lord and will not be able to find Him. Ars.
