REJOICING THROUGH TRIAL
1St PETER 4:12-13
BELOVED,DO NOT THINK IT STRANGE CONCERNING THE FIERY TRIAL WHICH IS TO TRY YOU, AS THOUGH SOME STRANGE THING HAPPENED TO YOU; BUT REJOICE TO THE EXTENT THAT YOU PARTAKE OF CHRIST'S SUFFERINGS, THAT WHEN HIS GLORY IS REVEALED,YOU MAY ALSO BE GLAD WITH EXCEEDING JOY.
It is without a doubt that we will face many trials in this life and deal with these trials and sufferings, but without Our Almighty Father we would be lost.
There is much truth to the words "I am weak, but He is strong."
It is His truth and word, His promises to us that He will always be there for us no matter what the circumstances in this life, that we cling to that sees us through. We cannot do it on our own power because we are powerless against satan without Christ in our minds, hearts and souls.
There will always be times when we feel beaten down by circumstances and trials but we can realize what is happening and we KNOW we can go to God. He listens, He loves us!!!!
All we have to do is BELIEVE THAT AND RECIEVE THAT!!!
God's children are never beaten down. Sometimes we as humans just need rest and God knows when we need that and will tell us when it is time to rest. It is those times that He will refresh us and refills us and most always that is also when He will reveal to us.
He is all that we need to provide all we need, as simple as that.
I would say that when He restores us with His strength it is like "Recharging our Batteries" but there is a huge flaw in that statement.
GOD ALONE IS THE POWER WITHIN US, NO BATTERIES REQUIRED!!!
PRAYER OF COMFORT AND HEALING
We praise you Lord for life itself
in good times and in bad.
You lift us high and raise us up
in both happy times and sad.
You are our strength; you are the rock
on which we proudly stand.
Though mountains fall, and skies grow dark
we rest gently in your hand.
When sorrow strikes and grief blows hard
and brings tears to flow like rain
your warmth surrounds and guards our hearts
to ease the bitter pain.
Dear Lord, this is a prayer today
for all who call on you
your comfort and your peace is theirs
to carry them on through.
HEAVENLY FATHER, IN THESE THINGS I PRAY,
IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

I find that when a "break" seems out of reach I will go to a special place I have found on the rocks of the shores of Lake Huron. The rock I sit on is my "closet" where there is only God and myself and the vastness of the water. I take in the sounds of the seagulls flying overhead the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks and even the smell of the air. It is ALL GOD! It is then when I truly feel His presence and KNOW He has not left my side. Even for one hour if we can do this can renew us and give us strength. If you have not found a special place I highly recommend finding one be it a lake mountain or even a little park where children play. :) Lord bless you Char and keep holding on to Jesus!
