I love this quote by Charles Swindoll, however,I myself consider it to be a BLESSING to HAVE experienced legalism and felt very much under bondage by it and even to begin getting sucked into the vaccuum into becoming a bit legalistic at times myself.

Why, you ask?

Because I have seen and now KNOW that it is worth fighting AGAINST!!

We can all do our part no matter how small that part seems to be (remember that the smallest seeds may seem small by THIS WORLDS standards but not by God's Standards) to help light more and more candles and be one ourselves so that the darkness of legalism takes it's rightful place in the furthest regions,far away from all of us.

THANK GOD He gives us the tools to fight against this very damaging thing to Spiritual Growth.



IT IS FOR FREEDOM THAT CHRIST SET US FREE,THEREFORE, KEEP STANDING FIRM AND DO NOT BE SUBJECT AGAIN TO THE YOKE OF SLAVERY.

Apart from the Passion I have for our Jesus, nothing stirs my passions more than legalism at its finest. It is the ONE bad seed that was planted in my life at a tender age, that took roots into the very depths of hell and bore the most poisonous of fruit.

Fruit that would taint,poison and shape my destructive life for fifty years.



Legalism is NOT God's plan and if it isn't God's plan,then it has no part in the lives of His Children.



FATHER GOD, AS WE PRAISE YOUR HOLY AND GRACIOUS NAME, KEEP US UPRIGHT IN YOUR RIGHTEOUNESS. HELP US TO REMAIN STRONG AND FIRM , BEARING ONLY GOOD FRUIT.

HELP US TO STAND FIRM YET FREE IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR GRACE IS SUFFICIENT.

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH, NEVER TO BE STOLEN BY THE ONE WHO COMES TO STEAL,KILL AND DESTROY.

WATER OUR ROOTS TO MAKE THEM GOOD ANCHORS, OUR BRANCHES TO BECOME STRONG AGAINST THE WIND, AND OUR FRUIT TO BE OF THE PUREST GOOD.
