I imagine the eyes of Jesus,

Looking down from Heaven above.

Watching over His earthly children,

His eyes full of mercy and love.

I imagine the eyes of Jesus,

Searching the hearts of men

For those who earnestly seek Him

Will you open the door and let Him in?

New life begins at the foot of the cross

All sins are washed away.

I once was lost, but now I'm found

Today begins a new day!

I imagine the eyes of Jesus

Looking down from Heaven above.

He came for me, He set me free!

My Savior, My Lord, My God.

STORY BEHIND THE SONG:

This is the song the LORD gave me on a trip home on August 20th. I was remembering the various stories of how many Muslims are seeing Jesus appearing to them and how they are being saved and are now testifying for Jesus as their LORD and Saviour. I was thinking, as I was driving along the highway, "LORD, I really would love to see you. You know that I love you."

Then I remembered the scripture that says, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29

Then I said to myself, "Well Lord, can I be just a little blessed for even just a moment!"

That is when the words to this song came to me, but only the first verse. The second verse and the tune came while in the shower (it seems almost all of the songs He has given me have been either in the shower or the bathtub!) and the chorus came in the middle of the night. I woke up and had to write it down on a Post-it.

I pray that each of you will receive a blessing today in a very special way as you too think of how much he loves you!

I am so thankful that Yeshua loved me so very much that He died for me and saved me from being eternally lost. I can't tell you how many times over the course of almost 60 years that He has literally saved my life. How many people do you know today that would be willing to die for you? That is the definition of true love.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

My husband created the video and these songs are for Him and dedicated to Him.
