All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Matthew 17:20

And Jesus said to them, `Through your want of faith; for verily I say to you, if ye may have faith as a grain of mustard, ye shall say to this mount, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible to you,

Hebrews 11

And faith is of things hoped for a confidence, of matters not seen a conviction, for in this were the elders testified of; by faith we understand the ages to have been prepared by a saying of God, in regard to the things seen not having come out of things appearing… amen

I want to speak life into your confidence.  Your confidence should be just like the definition it is a state of being certain either that a hypothesis or prediction is correct or that a chosen course of action is the best or most effective.  The word of God is where we can draw our confidence.  How? It’s a symbol of God’s love and covenant with his children. In simple terms we are part of God’s family through the blood of Jesus.  Amen...

I want to stir up your conviction as well. Our conviction should be a fixed or firm belief: No clever argument, no persuasive fact or theory that you hear or tell yourself can make a dent in the rightness of your course of action or your position. Amen

I want to press in on our hope.  For in the scripture it says Hebrews 11:1King James Version (KJV) now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  So let us look at hoped which is - A wish or desire accompanied by confident expectation of its fulfillment. Can we still trust the word? The answer is yes. We can believe with expectation that God’s word will be fulfilled... amen

 As believers we should desire to walk in faith and please our Lord. How? We can meditate on how to speak life into our confidence stir up our conviction and reconnect with the power of our hope.

In and by faith

Romans 4:16

Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

Hebrews 11:5

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God

Hebrews 11:7

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith

Matthew 8:5-10

5 And Jesus having entered into Capernaum, there came to him a centurion calling upon him,6 and saying, `Sir, my young man hath been laid in the house a paralytic, fearfully afflicted,'7 and Jesus saith to him, `I, having come, will heal him.'8 And the centurion answering said, `Sir, I am not worthy that thou mayest enter under my roof, but only say a word, and my servant shall be healed;9 for I also am a man under authority, having under myself soldiers, and I say to this one, Go, and he goeth, and to another, Be coming, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this, and he doth [it].'10 And Jesus having heard, did wonder, and said to those following, `Verily I say to you, not even in Israel so great faith have I found;

Let the body of Christ continue in faith to advance the good news of the Kingdom... Amen
