All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others
Being part of a church family!
A year ago after my husband and I separated, I was free to go to a church again, especially a church where the children and I could feel at home. We were church hopping for a few sundays but the Lord took me to a very special congregation. We immediately felt at home and after a few months became part of the church.
The worship is good, the sermons is incredible, and you have the opportunity to grow in your faith and your relationship with God. I made lot of precious friends and I can really say that I felt at home.
But today I experience something I never experience before in any other church. We had communion this morning and the sermon was about a breakthrough in your life! But there was an invitation to please do not miss out on the evening service and to make sure you bring the kids! I do not like to miss a service (maybe I am always afraid I am going to miss out on a blessings!!:-) ) But never did i know about this blessing! We came to the sevice tonight and after the sermon the pastor invites all the kids to the front, he prayed over each one and they were all given a parcel with sweeties etc. But we as the adults was not excluded for we all receive a faith declaration with money seed! This was such an awesome gesture of kindness that I have never experienced before!!
The kindness and love from their hearts especially our pastor, is so wonderful and I can only ask Father to bless this congregation and let it grow more spiritually and let it be a place where people will experience the love of the Father and see His miracles work through us!!
It is so important to belong to a church family, sometimes that is the only family people will know, and be blessed by being part of a congregation. Let you as well grow in relationship with God in your own church family and make a difference in the congregation, your home and the world!!

I'm blessed for you that you have an amazing church to be a part of. I too belong to a family of believers, I call it that because it feels exactly like that. We are a church that raises the people up to do the work of the ministry and it is a safe place to learn and to fail as well. We know we are unconditionally loved and accepted by Father God and our pastors and body of believers, not because of anything special we do but because God sees us as perfect, as he looks at us through the blood of Jesus. As i read your article and comments i cant help but die of envy.Im in India Varanasi, a city well known for hinduism.Churches are there but still they is the language barrier.We used to have a small worship group with my friends but they all finished their studies and left im now all alone.My spiritual warfare has declined so much.Im happy to be on this site where i can learn how people who were or are in ma situation have conqured/are conquering.May you be blessed abudantly for the information you are conveying

I am reading this and I cant help but identify with your feeling, two years ago I moved to another country where I knew no church and worst of all did not know the language. After missing out church for two Sundays I finally found a church, but it felt awkward for me all the time. One top of not understanding a word I could not connect spiritually. I simply decided to Google for churches in the area, and there I stumbled on this wonderful church, where my heart found rest and satisfaction. Ooh I feel so blessed and I thank God for this family that I joined because its home for me.

How wonderful for you! It is soo important to be a part of a loving and caring church family. I have been a member of 4 churches. Not because things went bad, but because God was growing me. It was hard to go through it, but I can finally see that it was the Lords will that I grow and move on to another church that could fulfill my spiritual and emotional needs. The church I go to now is great, plus its a private school so God brought it to me at just the right time since my son will be in school this year. He always provides and know what is best, doesnt He? Well, Im happy for you and I hope you continue to grow in His love.
