All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Due to a buzy schedule i havent had the change to chat to all of you as much as I would like, but I decided that I needed to share what I saw.
Sunday, two weeks ago, I had a vision while i was lying down a bit after a long week, but I couldnt sleep and did the most obvious thing, I pray.
Then i received a vision of a window and through it I saw very dark clouds, although it seemed like a huge storm, I didnt feel afraid. And then suddenly I saw the sun breaking through the clouds, the picture was absolutely fabulous!!
And I believe the Lord wants us to know that even when everything seems dark and the storms is clouding around you, God will break through and we will see His glory if we seek His face.
And I received the verse out if Amos 8:11:-
Behold the days are coming says the Lord, when I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread , nor a thirst for water, but for hearing the words of the LORd.
Get a hungry and a thirst for God for He want us to drink of His well and never gets thristy for He wants to clothe us with His glory and shower us in His love!

Thank you for stopping by and saying welcome. For years now, I've been separated from consistant fellowship as a result of a most difficult marriage. I've been thru the vicious cycle of suffering so many times that I've wondered if God will ever permit me to get off. So you may be able to understand why your greeting means so much. I know to others around the world, the American life may appear to be more prosperous and glamour filled than in other locations but the oppression of sin is just as real. And as a true believer, I'd trade any thing the world offers for my Lord and King. So thank you again Nienie. Steve

Nienie,Your vision certainly reminds me of the dark clouds that are gathering all over the world,as the storm of Endtime events intensifies. The most vivid dream I have ever had was of Jesus coming back.It was on a very dark morning, with lots of black clouds. Then He arrived, and I felt myself beginning to fly upwards, slowly at first, but then gathering speed. And that verse from Amos describes the spiritual climate of our time.We who know Him and His Word have the spiritual food that His lost children seek.

I THOUGHT I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SHARE THIS STORY WITH YOU AS IT IS SO APT... WE ALL HAVE "BRIGHT NEW MORNINGS" AFTER "MOURNING"...

THE ONE MAN WHO ACTUALLY NEVER SAW THE BEAUTY "IMAGINED IT" FOR THE SAKE OF HIS ROOM MATE IN HOSPITAL...

THIS I THINK IS GIVING HOPE WHEN A CASE SEEMS "HOPELESS"... GOD'S WAY OF SHOWING US HOW TO APPRECIATE LIFE AND THE BEAUTY AROUND US..

THE WINDOW (AUTHOR UNKNOWN)

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

And every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days and weeks passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

Epilogue. . . .There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count all of the things you have that money can't buy. "Today is a gift, that's why it is called the PRESENT".

Hello daar Nienie

Tonne Christusliefde
