My husband found a great church for us to go to and it's only 30 min away from our house. The sermons are great, the worship music is most uplifting, and the day care is willing to work with our unruly son. Great right? One problem...my ex and his family go there. i recently added a comment to the discussion of speaking in tongues. i seem to be the unpopular one on this one. i don't believe that speaking in tongues is screaming gibberish and laying your hands on anyone with in reach. that's just weird and scary. and churches that do this should know that all it does is frighten many new comers away.

i can't believe how hard it is for me to express my religion at work. i think it's because i lived such a non-christian life before and they all know about that one. it would seem wierd to them that i suddenly made a complete 180. and the last thing i want/need is tension from my co-workers. i don't want to be known as the bible-thumping-christian-psycho-lady.
