Asking for prayer.

Please pray for my entire family. We are in such a battle now and none of us are leaders. None of us are christ like none have access to people who truly love God. Battles toward my children yet I am the one breaking I am the one who is growing even weaker . There are no strong god fearing people in our lives. I e-mailed near by church and hmmmmm wow no one responded. I was desperate and let them know we were in a bad way in need of christian folks and god. and no one freaking responded. This… Continue

PSALM 120 DEVOTIONAL-PEACE BE WITH US

Today’s devotional is for the most part a request for prayer from a Christian brother in Pakistan. It came at the time I was about to write this devotional.

Dear Heavenly Father, Your Name is Holy and we rejoice in praise and worship of You and You alone. You have commanded that we put no other Gods before You and we humbly approach You this day and ask that you comfort, protect and provide for all who serve You in every nation where persecution and war against us is present. We…

What can you do for a man who has everything?

Several years ago, Hollywood and much of the world was rocked by a film

unlike any ever made before it. THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST came closer

to showing what the Lord Jesus endured when He sacrificed His life to

save us from our sins than any "Jesus" movie had ever dared to. Mel

Gibson sought the help of the Christian community to get this incredible

film before the public. Many Christians united to help Mel bring THE

PASSION to theaters. And it made… Continue

PSALM 95 DEVOTIONAL,TESTIMONY AND PRAISE REPORT

Today’s devotional is a testimony, praise report and a devotional all rolled into one. Last year as I sat upon the rocks on Lake Huron the day before I left to come back home from my vacation and visiting my mother, I prayed!! I prayed and asked our Father “how many more times will I have to leave this place that I do not want to leave?” It was getting harder and harder for me to do so with every passing year of visiting there. I asked Him, would I ever be able to just stay there? He…

How To Pray, When You Don't Know How

The story is that a gentleman, walking by one of the beautiful hedge-rows in England, saw a little lad on his knees and, pausing a moment, heard him repeating his letters: "A, B, C, D, E, F, G." So the little fellow went clear through the alphabet and when he had completed he began again: "A, B, C, D," etc., to the end, and so he continued until he had repeated the alphabet perhaps half a dozen times, after which he said, "Amen," and… Continue

URGENT PRAYER FOR BRAIN TUMOR

Dear Saints,

My dear friend, Pastor Joe Manahan was taken to I.C.U. last evening for confused thinking and severe headaches. Biopsies and tests continue as this blog goes out. At current a brain tumor has been found. Dr.'s are trying to determine if this mass is actually attached to the brain, or is on the outside. In either case, surgery is inevitable.

Pastor Joe runs a church in Arl. Hts. IL, and is also the main artery in the Chicago Transformers Fellowship. I personally know… Continue

Any Other Day

" Any Other day"

Christmas shouldn't be much different than any other day

We should think about the Savior as we go along our way

If you gave your heart to Jesus to have and to hold

If you told Him that your heart is truly His to mold

Then Christmas shouldn't be much different a day to celebrate

Than the ordinary days we'll bring to heavens gate

So lets all try to live each day as God would have us do

With… Continue

Asking for Prayers

I would like to ask for prayers for my daughter-in-law (Liz) and family. She was and still is in lots of pain. After testing, it has been found that she has a multiple cyst on her ovaries and something wrong with the pancreas but they do not know what yet. God can do incredible things I know. My son (David) is the prodical son and my daughter-in-law has left her Morman background for accepting Christ as her Savior, but is not walking with Him. They also have a precious 20 month old girl (Laci).… Continue

A Heart of Compassion

I'd like to share with you a prayer by Pr Onesmus. This is the path of his latest devotional conviction.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lord, take a look at my hand.
Take a look at my heart.
Mold it and refine it and set me apart.
I want to run to Your altar to catch the fire,
to stand in the gap for the lost world.
Give me a heart of compassion for the world without vision.
Then I…
To Truly Pray
What makes prayer effective?
Is it beautiful words? Setting a mood?
Is it a detailed prayer list? Aloneness?
Perhaps it is gathering with like-minded brethren?
Is it fasting? Self-denial?
Those things are, in fact, side issues. Effective prayer comes when one knows God well, aligns his will with God’s and then puts himself at God’s disposal.
God delights in the heart that seeks Him, not only above all else, but, instead of all… Continue
Seeking Your Prayers
Job 13: 15, ” Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him….”
I Peter 4: 12, 13, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”
James 1: 2, 3, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of…
My NEW MORNING!!
Praise the Lord for this new day!! His mercies are new every morning. Ahhhh!! We can start again, leaving yesterday's hassles behind, and tackle the things that bothered us then with a new vigour and a fresh mind. Thank the Lord for a refreshing sleep.
And as I sit with Lord on our front verandah, enjoying my morning cuppa, I marvel in this day. For us it is the first of spring. As I soak up the warmth of the morning sun, I also soak… Continue
Where Are The People Of God?
Where are the people of God today? Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness? Who long for God more than they do for food and water? Who simply must have God–or they die? Where are the people who will cry out to God to make them holy–at any cost? Those for whom spending hours before the throne of God is normal? Where are the men and women of God who love God and His Word so very much that they will give their very lives to see it taught? Who will stand up for truth even when it is… Continue
