Irony that hurts
Isn't it ironic. . .
An old man turned ninety-eight
He won the lottery and died the next day
It's a black fly in your Chardonnay
It's a death row pardon two minutes too late
And isn't it ironic?
It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought... that this tune would have run through my head as I…

Good Morning~
At sundown of that same day, thirteen men met to celebrate the Passover in a great gray hall, an upper room in a house on Mount Zion, the northeast corner of the height of Jerusalem. In the tall-roofed chamber with heavy beams holding up the ceiling, the only furnishings were rattan divans and a long oaken table, on which tall candles were burning. The flickering flames played upon the sturdy figures of the Apostles, and repeated them in distorted shadows against the…

Some donkeys were in the field nearby Jerusalem. One donkey said;
"I don't understand it, just yesterday everyone was throwing their clothes and palms on the road
when I was carrying Jesus on my back but now I am back to being a nothing. Those people don't even
see its me who was carrying Jesus."
Another donkey said:
"It works like that my brother; without Jesus you are nothing in this world"

Let us shift our focus from Rome back to Jerusalem and cast our gaze toward the Upper Room. It is Passover time, so the city is teeming with people. All Jewish males over the age of 12 were required to go there for the festival, which was followed by a seven-day celebration called the Festival of Unleavened Bread. For these festivals, Jews from all over the Roman Empire would converge on Jerusalem to celebrate the most important events in their history. You will remember that the Passover…

Part 1
Today is cloudy. I have struggled so long with journaling. The cloudy day sort of reflects how I feel about a journal. For over five years I have struggled with health issues. I used to run. Sometimes 5 or 10 miles. I used to lift weights and do aerobic excercise classes. I was a picture of health I guess. However, that would all end and actually that was just the beginning.
I suffered a "mini-stroke" or a TIA one weekend while at home. From that point on my health…

I asked you the other day whether or not you believe that you are chosen by God. God chose you and me to love him and enjoy his love forever.
I hope that the word “chosen” speaks to you. As children of God, we are God’s chosen ones. Chosen means you are wanted, your company is sought after—I like that. When I know that I am chosen, I know that I have been seen as a special person. Someone has noticed me in my uniqueness and has expressed a desire to know me, to come closer to me,…

Prayer for Protection
Psalm 17
1Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
2Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.…

Below is a prayer for someone very close to me. I am concerned about her soul. Please take a moment to pray for this person. I love her deeply. Also, please feel free to use this for someone close to you. I think it is a symptom of our life in America. I know she is not the only one with this malady.

Dear Friends ,
I would like to tell you I am in similar situation to this article. I am not worried that I lost something my heart desired. I lost my path, I lost my mind. I do not know where I am heading, what I need to do and what should I expect. I do not know what God wants me to do. Currently I am silent. But this is pulling me down many a times. Related to all other things…

Im a young person and there are many many many temptations out there in the "world". The list could go on and on about all the temptations . Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is…

The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength
NEHEMIAH 8:10 NLT
10 . . . Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is
your strength!"
I do not claim it is the only meaning, but one thing the Lord
showed me from this verse is that our level of joy is like a
thermometer revealing our spiritual strength. If our joy is low
-- our spiritual strength is low. That is because…
