M. Scott Peck, Psychiatrist, wrote a few books, one of them entitled "People of the Lie."  He said that "humanity . . . is locked in a titanic struggle between the forces of good and evil, between God and the devil.  The battleground of this struggle is the individual human soul."  He said the only question of significance is whether the individual soul will be won to God or won to the devil.

Faith

An account of the honour it reflects upon all those who have lived in the exercise of it (Heb 11:2)

By it the elders obtained a good report

- the ancient believers, who lived in the first ages of the world. Observe, 1. True faith is an old grace, and has the best plea to antiquity: it is not a new invention, a… Continue

Revelation Chapter  6

1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

3And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the…

No Christian is an island. Romans 12.4-8

No man is an island entire of itself.1 Certainly, no Christian is an island, entire of himself. Indeed, we are called to be transformed individuals . . . but we are meant to behave as one body, interrelated in Christ.

As the apostle Paul continues to explain Christianity to the church at Rome, he illustrates the interconnectedness of believers:

“Just as our bodies… Continue

The Book of Revelation Matthew Henry Concise Commentary ( Verses 1-8)

Christ, the Lamb, opens the first seal: observe what appeared. A rider on a white horse. By the going forth of this white horse, a time of peace, or the early progress of the Christian religion, seems to be intended; its going forth in purity, at the time when its heavenly Founder sent his apostles to teach all nations, adding, Lo! I am with you alway, even to the end of the…

The Cost

Jesus Disciples

……. As true-believers we have a duty to impact this world. Our lives and lifestyles should reflect what side we are on.” The Lord's  Side." Our world should see that we are spirit-filled with joy and full of passion. They should see someone who has love oozing from their very words and that any given time love, peace and harmony should affirm that life in Christ is a precious experience.

-zeal for the things of God

-a well made up mind

- a…

This will GROW your faith. Romans 12.3

‘Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves,

measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us,’ Paul writes. So, honestly….what have you done with the amount of faith God has given you?

Have you put your trust in God? Because you can never fully ‘know’ someone, all relationships require faith. But with God, we can look at who he is and what he has done . . . and both make him worthy of our trust . . . a person in whom we…

Measurement of Faithfulness

I usually compare my Christian walk in life with the Biblical people. I often question myself how much do i love God and my loveones? Up to what extent i could be faithful or am i faithful enough? Have i done enough or did i able to go that extra mile?

I believe biblical people ways in life are given to be a perfect example for our daily lives. How they handle trials, problems, sins, decisions, culture, realations, authority and etc.

Biblical people with great faith;

1.…

Revelation  Chapter 5

2And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

3And no…

Somewhere Tonight...........

Somewhere Tonight…………….

Somewhere tonight a wife sits praying for her very ill husband.

Somewhere tonight a woman begs for pity after being hit again by her husband.

Somewhere tonight a husband wonders if his wife will take him back.

Somewhere tonight a woman struggles with an addiction that threatens her very life.

Somewhere tonight a young soldier looks into the darkness and wonders if he will see the light of day.

Somewhere…

Candid words straight from my mind....

Where, God are you at? I prayed to you seeking salvation, but I don't feel saved. Maybe the way I feel like that is because you won't ever talk to me, or bear witness to my spirit. I walk through everyday, praying and reading my Bible, and at times, I have neglected you, but I always feel lonely, and unsatisfied. I feel like you just watch me, but have no intention of ever intervening or comforting me. The only proof of your spirit I have within me is the written law on my heart and mind,… Continue

Freedom from legalism.

One issue that has always overwhelmed me is that of legalism. I know that in Old Testament days, the Jews were required to follow all of God's laws down to the proverbial "T", and if they didn't, they were endanger of death. The only atonement for sins back then was the prescribed sin offering before God, (which was only a temporary atonement.) Many generations later, Jesus was sent to be the new covenant, and new atonement for sins of both Jew and Gentile; and also the release of his people… Continue

Where is God???

I could have sworn that I accepted Jesus Christ into my life; I mean, I know I confessed with my mouth and believed in my heart. So, right then, the holy spirit should have entered my life, right? I should have access to the father now, right? I am lying in my bed right now, so irritated and flustered with the whole thought that God just won't acknowledge me. Why do I think this? Because ever since I got saved, the only Godly experience I've witnessed is the imprinting of God's laws on my heart… Continue

Revelation 4

1After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

2And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. …

REJOICING THROUGH TRIAL

1St PETER 4:12-13

BELOVED,DO NOT THINK IT STRANGE CONCERNING THE FIERY TRIAL WHICH IS TO TRY YOU, AS THOUGH SOME STRANGE THING HAPPENED TO YOU; BUT REJOICE TO THE EXTENT THAT YOU PARTAKE OF CHRIST'S SUFFERINGS, THAT WHEN HIS GLORY IS REVEALED,YOU MAY ALSO BE GLAD WITH EXCEEDING JOY.

It is without a doubt that we will face many trials in this life and deal with these trials and sufferings, but without Our Almighty Father we would be lost.

There is much truth to… Continue

FREEDOM IN CHRIST WORTH FIGHTING FOR

QUOTE BY CHARLES R. SWINDOLL

IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN UNDER THE THUMB OF LEGALISM, YOU ARE RARE... YOU DON'T KNOW HOW BLESSED YOU HAVE BEEN. IF YOU HAVE BEEN UNDER BONDAGE AND HAVE BROKEN FREE (AS I HAVE), YOU KNOW BETTER THAN MOST WHAT A TREASURED PRIVILEGE FREEDOM REALLY IS.

IT'S WORTH FIGHTING FOR!!

I love this quote by Charles Swindoll, however,I myself consider it to be a BLESSING to HAVE experienced legalism and felt very much under… Continue

LIFTING UP THE HOUSE :):):) <3 <3 <3

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God,

the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,

and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary

and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,

and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the LORD

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow… Continue
