URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

Dear family, please pray for a sister who is in a situation and is being abused, not only mentally, but physically and needs help immediately.  The verbal and physical abuse is increasing.  Insult to injury, she has not been well. Needless to say, she cannot take anymore abuse, she has no family in the area, nor can she afford to move again.  The cycle of abuse needs to be stopped before someone sustains more serious injuries.

Father God we are praying, asking and thanking you in…

Prayer For The Day

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you, Lord for being so loving and kind to us. You are full of mercy and want so much to bless each of us who are called by Your name. Forgive us for the times we have failed to be the "Good Samaritan." We know that we have walked on the other side of the road, as we were selfish and simply did not want to get involved in helping others. Help me to use whatever talents and abilities that I have to be a good and faithful servant in my job, at home and…

Beware the words: "I am/will Pray for you."

I am Praying for you. I will Pray for you. They sound the same but, they are not. Both, are Powerful actions. However, they can be miles apart. As we grow in the Lord, we learn that what we say matters. When we tell another that we are or will Pray for them, we are held to this. To tell someone, “I will Pray for you,” means at some point we will remember them in Prayers. To tell someone, “I am Praying for you,” is not even close to the same thing. To share with…

Let Man not Seperate What God Hath Joined

Dear Friends,

Me & my friend worked on a song to make divorced couples think about reunion. We worked for more than two months. Please listen to the song that I am sending you and if you think it could save some families, feel free to share it with them. We decided not to sell this song rather share it free of cost in youtube so that many families would be benefitted. Bible does not allow divorce, though Moses allowed Israelites to divorce due to the hardening of…

What to do about tomorrow. James 4.13-16

Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”  Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life?  You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.  Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”  As…

NEVER ALONE IN JESUS

I was a in a happy family with Dad, Mom, brothers and a twin sister. My life is full of family’s love. I’ve never been alone since I was a baby.  Maybe that is the reason why I’m afraid to be alone, I’m scared of loneliness, I hate to be alone. My family and my twin sister are always beside me. I was so sad when my twin sister got married. I decided to get married with the man who I love so much this year but he doesn’t believe in God. I didn’t ask God permission about that because…

QUESTION

IF GOD AND JESUS LOVES U S SO MUCH WHY DOES HE LET SOME OF US LIVE LONELY HURTFUL LIVES, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE DISABLED, AND HURTING, DOES HE JUST WANT TO SEE HOW MUCH MORE MISERABLE HE CAN MAKE US? OR DOES HE REALLY CARE?

If you need to shout, then shout out!

Matt 9:30 Two blind men were sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"

Matt 9:31 "Be quiet!" the crowd yelled at them. But they only shouted louder, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" We see this same thing again and again. People who need Jesus cry out; they shout, they are exercising faith. They believe if only Jesus…

Poem: Grace and Love

Unmerited favor of God

flows continually

and without interruption,

when you are a child of His.

His Love for us is...

Unquestionably unconditional;

however, His Grace is not.

Grace and Love are not equivalent -

We must not endeavor

to confuse these concepts.

God's Word is always steadfast

and is an unmovable truth.

Author Notes:

The standard…

Poem: Exit Strategy

You've lived a life of uncounted days

and your spirit is ready to leave;

but are you ready for the hereafter,

if in God, you don't believe?

For when your spirit and soul separate,

opportunity is gone, as the body decays.

Since our mortal time is not guaranteed,

begin a relationship with Him today.

Regarding your earthly departure,

do you have an Exit Strategy?

Will you be ready to find yourself -

Before Jehovah on bended…

Prayer For The Day

Dear Father, Thank you for the love and forgiveness that You show us daily. Lord, help us to overcome any sin that the enemy tempts us to engage in. Lord, forgive us for the times we fail You. We also forgive those who have hurt us and sinned against us. May they come to repentance so that they might know Your forgiving love too. We all need Your love and mercy. Lord Jesus, be merciful to our family and our friends. Watch over our children and our grandchildren and keep them from harm.…

Judge others . . . well, don't!

Good Day.

“Don't speak evil against one another, my brothers and sisters. If you criticize each other and condemn each other, then you are criticizing and condemning God's law. But you are not a judge who can decide whether the law is right or wrong. Your job is to obey it.…

GOD HEALED MY HEART

I don’t remember exactly the day I was baptized. I was in God for long time but I didn’t change much. My life before and after baptize is not much different. I only need Him when I got troubles. I also read Bible and prayed to God but God was not in my way, God was not in my central heart.

I met and fell in love with a man before being baptized. I sometimes thought that he was not my man that God chose for me, but I didn’t ask God permission. We planned to get married; everybody…

Forgive

"The love of God enables me to release the past and forgive myself and others."

FORGIVE

Why is it sometimes easier for me to forgive others than it is for me to forgive myself?  Rather than carry a burden of guilt with me wherever I go, I am learning to release the past and forgive myself by turning everything over to God in prayer.

"Thank You, God, for helping me understand that by forgiving myself I am recognizing that whatever happened was an opportunity for me to…

Ready ... action!

Grammar classes were always my favorite . . . I liked diagramming sentences--breaking the parts of speech into little branches and trees.  Later, as an English teacher, I liked teaching my students to diagram sentences, so that they too would better understand the rules of language grammar. Today's lesson: verbs.    …

From birth, to teenager, and beyond in God

How do we serve God? How do we Love Him? Both of these questions are based not on ourselves but, Him. We can only serve and Love Jesus based on His Love to us. The inspiration and even desire, comes all through His Love. However, we must be obedient to the leading of Holy Spirit. As we mature and grow in Him, this become more and more important. A daily Bible reading, a few moments of Prayer now and again will not satisfy us, the same as when we were young Christians. It is not for lack of…
