Poem: Human Matrix

Forcing an alignment of corporate resources

for some theory of best fit correlation

doesn't work on Kingdom People

when using an unspoken method of tabulation.

If Life is about true spiritual growth,

then why do ministries attempt to pigeon-hole

not making any allowances for us

to develop, expand and break our current mold?

Despite multitudes of outcome possibilities

the Church seems to suffer bouts of paralysis

from the continued mashing of…

Behind the Poem: Enoch

Now that people are becoming more aware of my poetic efforts, interests are being expressed regarding the background of my poetry - in addition, to my spiritual muse. In this installment, I speak to a poem that ends in a direction, not initially considered...

I've attended Church services for more than 3.5 decades; as a youth, I was raised in a Baptist Church (in southern Maine). For those unfamiliar with this division of Christianity, there's nothing more important than studying "The…

Parable of the weeds (Matthew 13:24-30) - NIV

1. We need to sow good seed. (V.24)

2. The enemy will bring in obstacles (V.25)

3. Alongwith our good seed evil will rear its head (V.26)

4. We will share concern with God regarding evil (V.27)

5.We will seek God's permission to uproot evil (V.28)

6.God sovereignly decides the appropriate time to destroy evil (V.29)

Tenacity hold on; cause and effect or is it affect? U decide

Determined,  unyielding,  hold fast;  what if we were  determined to chase after the things of God, instead of the things of this world?  What if we encouraged our children to be imitaters of Christ, instead of men?   What if our obsessions were reading Gods word, instead of covetousness and idolotry?  What if we were unyielding in our beliefs on marriage, what if we held fast to the promises of God?  Our tenacity was to finish the race set before us..  Our  worship reflected thankfulness,…

Abraham and the Covenant of Circumcision

Now when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,

“I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless. 2 “I will establish My covenant between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly.”

3 Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,

4 “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you will be the father of a multitude of nations. 5 “No longer shall your name be called Abram, But your name shall be Abraham; For I…

PRIDE BLINDS

Even when confronted by point blank with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ's deity some people refused to believe. Even today they are refusing. These eye witnessed all the miracles our Lord did but they refused as a matter of fact they did not only rejected Jesus, they plotted his murder. They were so hardened that they preferred to reject God's son rather than admit that they were wrong. Let us beware of PRIDE if we allow it to grow it can lead us into enormous sin.

What If?

In these past weeks, I encountered different kinds of problems. Sometimes it makes me strong, sometimes its weight hides in me. It is compose of physical, emotional, spiritual and etc., different kind of problems but one solution, pray. But praying without work is dead. I always asked myself “what if?”, and somehow there’s always a part in my head telling me “you think too much”. I know myself than any other person, but still there’s some part of me I can’t understand. Having this kind of…

God, Make It Happen

I've been born and have been die

I've been sinned and have been forgiven

I've been lost and have been found

I've been pawned and have been redeemed

We're breathing but still dying

We're saved but still lost

We're free but still slave

We're new but still in the past

We are new creation of God

But still were living on our sins

God give His only Son to save us

But still we claim our salvation

We need to…

What do we usually pray for?

People usually pray for: Good life or happy life, Support in finances, Health and wealth, Family or friends, Etc. All of the above are not bad to wish for, because it is our basic needs and wants in this world. But what are the spiritual things you are praying for? Maybe Wisdom to understand God’s will, Anointing power, Guidance in decision making, Or even a persons’ life, Etc. And again it is all good, because we really need all of that. But before praying all of that why not pray for your…

The gray areas ... sin. John 9.2-3; 1 Corinthians 6.18-20

The gray areas … sin.  Scripture: John 9.2-3; 1 Corinthians 6.18-20

Same pretty blonde, with tender heart and probing questions, sitting at my kitchen table one afternoon, asked, ‘So how do I know where the line is?  Regarding sin, I…

I don't understand...

I can except the deaths of so many family members. But, my pap pap (who wasn't my real grandpa but I really miss him)...it's just so hard.

I know they died when I was like between the ages or 2 or 3 to like 13 (grandma was the last one). There's been people on my aunt S.' side who's died recently but I wasn't close to them. Pappy died when I was like 2 or 3. I have atleast one memory of my great aunt (when she was in the blue hospital room in bed),one of aunt C. (I think we…

The real problem I have with witnessing

Ok, there's still some problems with the JWs but, thanks to the Lord, the problems have dwindled to a smaller number.

I realize the main problem I have with witnessing to dad,mom and my uncle. If I say something I could just be told that the Bible is man man, it has errors. What kind of fruitage is that? All that has to be said is the Bible is wrong/has errors.

Like when I tried showing my uncle about the 144,000 and the great crowd after the 12 tribes of…

Let's talk about sin. John 9.1-7; Romans 3.23

Key Scripture:  All have sinned and fall short of God.

Sin is yucky.  Sin is controversial . . . because people want to split hairs—because we want to let ourselves off the hook.  ‘I don’t really sin—I mean, I don’t really do anything bad—just the occasional white…
