Be silent, My little one. My peace shall come to you as you think about Me and as you open to Me your heart. Be not disturbed by what you feel, but set your thoughts on what you know and what I have revealed to you, and new faith shall spring forth.
Never doubt My love when things are dark. Situations never change Me. The deeper your need, the more I will respond if you call on Me. In this way you can turn the darkness into blessing.
Hold to My hand. No other support is…

__Although this applies to a time In Israel’s history, I have adopted Joel 2:25 & 26 as what God continues to do to restore my life to me. “And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I have sent among you. And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt WONDEROUSLY with you: and my people should never be ashamed.”

Since I am new here, I am not sure where to start. So many things have happened in my life---some bad and some good. Maybe with this item, you will see where I came from and how God has turned my whole life around. Will tell you about the amazing ways He has done it.
Sit down and relax while I tell you this story.
Part I
Most of my life I was pretty active. I did a lot of dancing and walking and constantly on the go. I was hyperactive. About fourteen years ago I…

Got this in an e-mail today and need to remember it...sometimes the more simple the message, the more impact it makes.
"God makes a promise, faith believes it, hope anticipates it, patience quietly awaits it." ~ Unknown
Lord knows, the patience is my downfall.
Thank you Lord for not giving up on me, even when my patience gives out before You act. You aren't the problem, I am. Get me out of my way and out of Your way today and do what You need to do with my…

My people are drifting like a boat with empty sails. But I shall blow, saith the Lord; yes, I shall cause a mighty wind to rise, and the sails shall be filled, and the Spirit shall drive you forward. You shall rejoice in Me and praise My Name.
In your own power you can accomplish nothing whatsoever in the Kingdom of God. I need your submission, but I do not need your help.
All strivings only hinder. Love is the only telling contribution you can make toward the perfecting…

No chastening is pleasant, but you need it for your growth in the graces of the Spirit. Move ahead in confidence in spite of every obstacle.
Mine eye is upon you.
Hebrews 5:8; Even though Jesus was God's Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.
Hebrews 12:5-6 And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said, 'My child, don't make light of the LORD's discipline, and don't give up when He corrects you. For the…

Well...it's another "one of those days." I struggle to do what is right. I fall short. I miss the mark...the mark I had set for myself. I promised I'd show love, be patient...have compassion. I tried to climb the mountain in front of me, the impossibly steep rocky cliff of life's circumstances, of my own strength. I expected to be able to do it, without a stumble. I can see it, right in front of me. "So what?" I ask...it's a mountain...a big one....I can climb it and conquer it. One straight…

Missing Children
I pray that God is with all the missing children wherevere they are in the world.
Lord be with the familes of the missing children, let them feel your comforting presence as they try to deal with the empty place at the kitchen table, the toys no longer being played with.
Be with the children who are away from their loving familes, protect them Lord from harm.
Be with the police and authorities searching for the children who are missing, remove the…

Grief
Sadly grief comes to all of us, we all lose loved ones called home to God.
The journey or path through grief to healing can be difficult and painful.
But by clinging to God we will get through to the healing at the end.
There will be tears and sleepless nights along the way but God is there through it all.
Trust Him and through time, grief will cease and healing will come.
God will let me smile again and be the lively, outgoing person I'm meant to…

Atlantic Sunrise
I sit here watching the sunrise from the dark sea below to the blue sky above.
I've been through a dark time in my life but with God's love and grace, the sun is beginning to shine again.
The weeks and months ahead may have times as dark as the sea below, but by clinging to God, the sun will rise in my life just like it rises from the dark sea below to the blue sky above.
Written 6th February 2008 after seeing the sunrise on route from Dublin to…

My ways are not your ways. My perfect timing seems slow to you because of your spirit of impatience. Some of My most precious gifts are unrecognized by you because of your blind ingratitude. Many a lovely experience can come to you and not be received because of your insensitivity at that particular moment.
Angels have knocked at your door and been turned away as beggars because you were dull of perception. Could the truth be revealed, you would view with awe and astonishment the…

Ok, almost 3 weeks ago my husband of 18 months told me he felt he would be happier if he was single. We are both 25 and have been together for almost 10 years. I found out 1 week before he told me this that he and my best friend had been texting each other for 2 months. I confronted them both and they said they were just friends. They didn't have to lie and keep it from me though. Ok, they said out of respect for me they wouldn't talk anymore. Well, 1 week went by and then my husband sends me a…

My child, know that I am guiding and leading. Nothing can be amiss as long as your heart is right with Me. I am in full control of all that touches your life when you are in tune with Me.
Lay every care at My feet. Give Me every heartache and every concern. I will make your way clear, so that you will not stumble nor be turned to a false way.
There has been no time when you have needed Me as deeply as you need Me now.

Give Him your full adoration. His grace toward you extends through the channel of your love, and is activated by your desire to receive. Enter upon each day with the quiet knowing: Christ is in this day because Christ is in Me.
You can go nowhere without finding Him, because wherever you go, you take Him with you, and He goes before and follows after.
Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd;
I have all I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
He leads me…

There is a way of the Spirit unknown to the natural mind. No barrier can keep you from finding His best for you except an unyielding will. As long as it is your sincere desire to know and to do the will of God, He will guide and direct you in all sorts of surprising ways.
His desire to bless you goes infinitely beyond your own personal effort to secure His blessing.
There is always peace in His presence. Do not disturb this by anxiety about what is in store for tomorrow.…

All you do for Me in ministering to others is part of My own working within you; for in every case, whenever you bless another, you bring an injection of new life and vitality into your own spirit and personality.
Your character is that which I shape from the broken fragments of all your testings; therefore, accept the trials with a grateful heart. I will use ALL things to bring you into conformity to My image if you will but bless all and trust Me. (by: Frances J.…

If you set up barriers through pride or self-defense, you hinder the progress of your soul. Be as a little child and stay open to the flow of My life in you: so shall you be spared many a bitter disappointment and much weary striving. Only in this way can you keep your balance and poise. Thus shall your perfecting be accomplished.
Nothing you could ever do for Me can be more important than this -- the perfecting of your own soul.
Hebrews 13: 20-21 Now may the God of Peace…

FASTING AND PRAYER (Excerpt from Elizabeth Alves, book, ‘The Mighty Warrior’.
Fasting—our cutting edge—is most often done in secret and coupled with prayer. More than just abstaining from food, it is an act of self-denial for higher purposes. It is important to check your motives and heart attitudes with the Lord before you determine to pray with fasting.
(Matthew 6:16-18)
Notice that Jesus did not say 'if' you fast, but 'when' you fast, so He expected Christians to…
