KANDHAMAL: From outside, the situation appears normal in Orissa's Kandhamal district, which witnessed large-scale anti-Christian violence five months ago. But interaction with locals and administration officials on Monday made it clear that the divide on the lines of religion, caste and political affiliations was hampering restoration of peace.
Although life turned a bit normal with the opening of some schools and colleges, distrust among those belonging to…

I Am A Christian…
Christianity is a life style….
Relationship with God is a lifestyle..
The apostle Paul gave us his definition in Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ, therefore it is no longer I, but Christ, who lives in me: and the life which I now live in the this physical body, I live by the faith of the Son of God" "It is no longer I, but Christ"…

...GOD HAD A PLAN!!
(I shared this in the Jesus Discovery group. We've just started into John's gospel. If you'd like to join us just ask for an invite.)
He knew that His prize creation, we humans, would sin. He knew that we would mess up His wonderful creation. He knew that we would turn our back on Him. Yet, He still chose to create us.
(I've just done a little search and found this...)
Before God created… Continue

I own my own business. As a life coach, my business rates in Catagory 3. Catagory 1 has to do with shelter and food; Catagory 2 is about dental care and gas. Catagory 3 is about interior decorators and counselors. There are days when I can't see where the next client is coming from and I feel troubled.
My husband of 36 years just completed seven weeks of daily radiation/chemo for cancer. I think he is going to live, but sometimes I feel troubled.
The uncertainty of life…

God has used this time of pain to teach me many lessons. I'm amazed of how much he has taught me and is teaching me even in such a short time. I'm learning to be content with who God has made me. This has been a realization that i just couldn't grasp for so long. I'm a recovered anorexic and God has brought me through that but i still have a problem with grasping his love and beauty for me and even my body. When i first had problems walking i refused to get a cart at walmart. "What will they…

A few of us have started a discovery into John's gopel. The group is called Jesus Discovery. It's not a study where you have someone teaching the others, but rather it IS a DISCOVERY, where we are all discovering more about Jesus together.
Anyhow, here's something that the Lord unfolded to me this morning from our reading in chapter 1. John starts off:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."…

Pastor Williams,
I have been married 33 years and I am a heterosexual. I believe that heterosexuals can be harassed just like homosexuals can be sexually harassed. I also believe God's Words that says at Leviticus 18:22 that "a man must not lie with another man as though he was a woman; it's an abomination to God". I also believe that some women are involved in homosexuality because Romans 1:26, 27 says there are some women who like some of the men did that which was unnatural. I also…

Here are some good questions that we all need to answer in regards to this video.
1. What are some of the issues that you saw about the Church in this video that needs to change?
2. How do we help our own churches to rid themselves of pollutants?
3. What are some things that the Church has connected with Jesus that…

Have you ever really listened to the words you speak? When I was first learning how important my thoughts and words were to my life, I started listening to what I was speaking. At the time I was working on my thoughts trying not to allow any negative ones in my mind, but while I was working on that I started noticing all the negative things I was speaking.
The words didn't seem like much, but as I kept track it really accumulated. They were just small things like "traffic is going… Continue

Dear Saints of God
Greetings to you in the precious name and honor of Jesus our Lord and Savior, I am so thankful to God that his hands and his calling was upon my life even before the foundation of the world. The evils of abuse and rejections that I went through (while growing up) was not in vain, for God has always been with me, He delivered me, set me free, and has given me new life from the past by the shedding of His blood (through it all) and has given me "TOTAL VICTORY!” What the…

Prophetic message 7/2-2009. kl.01:20 PM. My son, write, says the Lord.
"I see my children who are facing more and more away from me.They put up their own ways. They do not ask me whether I will accept and like what they do. They put up their own ways in their own thoughts. Many do it genuinly, but spirits of lier come to them and they are wild ledet. When a blind leads the blind, will they both fall in the ditch. Speak to them if they like it or…

WILLING AND OBEDIENT
Isaiah 1:19 says, " If you are willing and obedient, then you will eat the best of the Land."
A young boy was acting up and his dad told him to sit down. The boy was very defiant and the dad had to repeat himself, "sit down!" The boy sat down with his arms folded said, “ I might be sitting down on the outside, but I am still standing up on the inside!”
There is a real difference between being…

If I were to ask you this: Would you like to taste this
C8-H10-N4-02.+H2O+C12.H22.O11+H2FCI ? You would definitely be very skeptical about it, unless I tell you that these are chemical formulas. Even after me telling you that, you would still be wondering “formulas for what?” But, if I was to offer you a cup of coffee with sugar and milk, it would make the difference in the world for you wouldn’t it?
When it comes to the gospel of Jesus, we might be doing the same thing to people…

What does it mean to be an oppressor, what is an oppressor. The Bible speaks a lot about oppressors, oppression, or people who are oppressed. a person is an oppressor who persecutes or subjects you to harsh treatment; it means to treat someone as though they have been conquered; it mean to treat as a conquered people, such as prior slaves or someone that you want to be a slave to you, you treat that person as if he was already conquered; as is he already was conquered, already a slave even if…

After talking with a few people on AGG, there seems to be a need to run a study for new Christians, and for those who are isolated. So with the help of a good friend, we'd like to set one up.
This is how we envisage it:
We don't want it to be all head knowledge;
Nor just one or two people teaching the rest.
We'd like it to be like a discovery expedition, where we are…

I've learned some important lessons this week. The most important is, as the title suggests, being in the place where God wants you to be.
And as a Christian, we can be involved in Christian work, but really not doing what GOD wants. If we analyse our motives for being there, it is often to please someone else ... because someone expects us to be there ... because we feel we're needed there. (Besides, what would they do without us.)
But, as I've discovered this week, if we…

With All Due Respect The Answer is Still No Homosexual Despite The Alreadys
Some people think that all people are homosexuals; that’s not the truth. The truth is that some people are and that does not include all of us. The fact that almighty God said, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is an abomination” is proof that it is not a Godly thing for us to do. I know that some people were born homosexuals and it’s true that we are all homos because the word 'homo'…

THE CORNER STONE
"The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone." ( Psalm 118:22 NAS )
In ancient times the cornerstone was the stone at the corner of two walls that united them. It was the visible corner of the foundation of the building and the starting point of all future building above the foundation. It was the most costly stone due of its beauty and strength. It was also the…
