MAY GOD BE GLORIFIED AS YOU READ THIS STORY! BE ENCOURAGED!!

"All things work together for good to those that love God and are called according to His purpose."
And someone has said that the more bitter the battle, the sweeter is the victory. This has definitely been the case for my friend,
Pastor Atukwatse Onesmus, over the…

Word from God too His People. From Corinthians. 13: 1-8 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my…

"It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in princes." (Psalm 118:8-9, Amp.)
I know I shared these verses before, and that verse 8 is the middle verse in the Bible, but this morning, after mentioning about giants yesterday, my thoughts went back to David and Goliath.…

It isn't easy to get baptized in the desert, especially if you're of the persuasion that believes in being baptized by being immersed in water. Our daughter-in-law grew up in one of those areas without much water, so she got baptized in a horse trough - minus the horse of course. Some Marines in Iraq got baptized in a small brick chapel, in a rubber dinghy filled with water. A young corporal was one of those. He decided to get baptized as his unit was preparing to attack the insurgent…

"Should Christians judge the teachings of their leaders?"
Answer: As Christians, we are commanded against following teachers blindly, but are told rather to “Test everything; hold on to the good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). The apostle Peter warns us in 2 Peter 2:1-3 that there will be false teachers in our day just as there were false teachers in his day. Among their false teachings is a denial of the sufficiency of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross to take away sin, which is a…

Dear saints,
I know I'm not the only one that "Eliab" has tried to destroy. Oh I could write a book on this.
My wife and I visited a dear sister and brother for a day and a night. They encouraged us so. What God spoke into my heart while there, was a clear message in my spirit, but I had difficulty in putting it into words. Since February, God has been telling me things, then directly sending someone to me with a message of confirmation and then confirming it also in His…

I just came in from feeding and watering my animals. It often dawns on me that I am to them what God my Father is to me. The animals depend on me for shelter, food, water and love. In the same fashion, I depend on Father for the same things. He feeds me, He walks with me, He shelters me and more. I know that I must be the "alpha" to them. Especially, with my dogs. They have a pack mentality. I am the leader of their pack. They follow me and know my voice, just I know the voice of God and follow…

Do you have a Bible?
Many of us will say, "Yes, I have a number of Bibles on my bookshelf."
And some will say, "No, but I want one so much."
But I have another question....
DO YOU HAVE GOD'S WORD?
The Bible is a wonderful possession, and full of wonderful truths,
but what good would all that be to us if it remained on the shelf?
And even a Bible in our hand will not help us win against…

Well, Good Day. . .
It took extreme courage on Paul's part to do what he believed was God's will for him. Perhaps all of the groundwork I have laid about surrender, trust, and wanting to know God's will for your life. . . all sounds good. . . intellectually. The problem comes in the doing, and sometimes in the 'not doing'. . . but the waiting for God's direction--waiting for God to come and rescue you. Perhaps this inspirational story will paint a picture in your mind, and give you…

There is a company of people who long to overcome everything that is contrary to God and His Word. Are you a part of that group? Read this message to find out if you fit its description.
"When the ancient Spartans marched into battle, they advanced with cheerful songs, willing to fight. But when the Persians entered the conflict, you could hear, as the regiments came on, the crack of whips by which the officers drove the cowards to the fray. No wonder that a few Spartans were more…

The man who does things, makes many mistakes, but he never makes the biggest mistake of all — doing nothing.
As Christians we are so often full of criticism and comment. This brother should not have gone out to evangelise, for he has no training at all, and that sister thinks that she can lead her neighbours to the Lord. Who do they think they are? Don’t they realise how stupid they are and how many mistakes they make?
It is so easy to see all the mistakes others are…

Life Is Not Fair
"Love your neighbor as you love yourself." - Galatians 5:14
As long as you hate your enemy, a jail door is closed and a prisoner is taken. But when you try to understand and release your foe from your hatred, then the prisoner is released and that prison is you.
Perhaps you don't like that idea. Perhaps the thought of forgiveness is unrealistic. Perhaps the idea of trying to understand the Judases in our world…

Calvinism uses the acronym TULIP to represent it’s said “five points.” T: Total Depravity; U: Unconditional Election; L: Limited Atonement; I: Irresistible Grace; P: Perseverance of the Saints. It was not Calvin himself who so organized his teachings but, rather, his followers who, in answering five objections to Calvin’s teachings from Arminians (followers of Dutch Reformer Jacobus Arminius were originally called Remonstrants), arranged the TULIP acronym in order to make their answer…

A Little Girl's Prayer
"Before they call, I will answer!" Isaiah 65:24
A Little Girl's Prayer
(As told by Helen Roseveare, a doctor missionary from England to Zaire, Africa)
One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all we could do she died leaving us with a tiny premature baby and a crying two-year-old daughter.
We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive, as we had no incubator(we had no electricity to…

The Ninth Chapter
OBEDIENCE AND SUBJECTION
IT IS a very great thing to obey, to live under a superior and not to be one's own master, for it is much safer to be subject than it is to command. Many live in obedience more from necessity than from love. Such become discontented and dejected on the slightest pretext; they will never gain peace of mind unless they subject themselves wholeheartedly for the love of…

TABERAH FIRE
In the book of Numbers 11:1-3 a situation arose when the people of Israel began complaining out loud to the Lord about all the troubles they were facing living in the wilderness. The Lord became angry and the fire of the Lord began to burn among them. The burning was so awful that some people on the outskirts of the camp died. The people cried out for Moses to talk to God, and when he did the fire died down.…

God is GOOD..................... the Devil is BAD!!
God is LOVE ................. the Devil is HATRED!
God is TRUTH ................ the Devil is a LIER!!
It's the age old battle and yet some people will deny that it is there.
And what is the battle over? The PRIZE POSSESSION, which is US!!
Both God and the Devil are seeking our devotion.
The old song is true when it says....
"YOU'VE GOTTA SERVE SOMEBODY!!"
So the choice is…
