THE BEST CHRISTIAN IN THE COUNTRY.....

(Letters of John Newton)

Dear friend,

In preferring a warm heart to a full head--you certainly judge by the rule of Scripture. The Lord looks to the heart--not to the stature, the popularity, the intellect, the rank or wealth of a person. These are to the man--no more than ornamental trappings to a horse!

"All men are like grass, and all their goodness is like the flower of the field!" Isaiah 40:6. The mass of mankind may be compared to grass. And those who are… Continue

Hope Springs Eternal

Hope springs eternal. With just a couple days left until we officially celebrate Christmas, my mind turns to the whole specter of hope. Hope ~ a feeling of expectation that something will happen. Yes, hope. The Messiah was the epitome of hope for the entire world—indeed, the Jewish people endured persecution, enslavement, and captivity, their light never going out because they held to the hope of the Messiah. Part of the beauty of the Advent—the time of preparation—for the birth of the…

I'm So Glad It Happened

I think I may have some valuable thoughts about my own question here.  Is it possible not to lift a finger and still be successful in finding and keeping the life partner that God has intended for you? I

think it is... if you read the book of Tobit, it's written all over

there... Tobias and Sarah was meant for each other from the beginning of

creation. I think the struggle comes in because we, humans, have free

will. We try to control and perhaps alter what God has…

RAMBLING:$30

T's the season to spend! Spend! Spend! Bargins are everywhere and parking lots are overcrowded with fiesty shoppers. The hustle & bustle is overwhelming...oh yes all them folks collecting dollars for their charities. Yesterday there was a "new twist" in Christmas. Where I work we have a public food line that goes from 3:30pm - 4:45 pm. Folks can come and enjoy a free meal or two or more. I had stepped out of the dinning room for a minute or so and…

CHRISTMAS IS NOT ALL ABOUT EATING AND DRINKING

CHRISTMAS IS NOT ALL ABOUT EATING AND DRINKING

The birth of Jesus was foretold by Prophet Isaiah way back between 740-701 BC and the prophecy was fulfilled around AD. 50- 70 AD meaning the prophecy almost took 70yrs to come true, or boy that’s along time of waiting but that shows us on how much time people spent in pain waiting for the savior.

We read in Isaiah 9:6, words like “to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders and he… Continue

UNFAILING LOVE

The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. from his throne he observes all who live on earth. He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do....But the lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing Love. he rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. we put our hope in the lord. he is our help and our shield. in him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. let your unfailing love surround us. Lord, for our… Continue

Igniting a Fresh Revival in the Land 1.1

It's interesting to know that people without past have no future! For this church age to navigate the present and future spiritual journey without repeating the mistakes of the fathers, we need to have good understanding of the past, and until we begin to honor the church fathers, we will miss the blessings embedded in the legacy that they left for us. My ability to make quick reference of my past kept me safe through every storm that I met at each point in life; I stayed focused on the…

When Everything Canges

If you know me very well you would discover that I do not like changes much. I like things to stay the same, but it is unrealistic. We are going down the road of life that has many bends to go around, hills to climb, bumps to go over, and obstacles to avoid.

Maybe you like me are facing yet another Christmas after loosing a loved…

Igniting a Fresh Revival in the Land 1.0

I am presently studying on church revival after I had a dream that I believed was from the Lord. In my dream, I unearthed a piece of relic in the shape of the cross. It was old and rusted. I dipped it in oil and the rust was gone immediately. As I studied it, it could eject water like a water jet. It had a side that would loosen nuts and another side would loosen bolts even so tight or rusted. A kid was showing me how to use the…

THE LORD REIGNS FOREVER.

The Lord reigns!

(Letters of John Newton)

"The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength!" Psalm 93:1

"The Lord reigns! Let the nations tremble!" Psalm 99:1

The Lord reigns! He who once bore our sins, and carried our sorrows--is seated upon a throne of glory, and exercises all power in heaven and on earth! Thrones, principalities, and powers, bow before Him. Every being and event are under His rule.…

Gift for the Savior.

‘Just got back from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping in the 11th hour—you know, running around to collect those few desired items that had not yet been purchased. Yes, the stores were busy, but I don’t mind the crowds; in fact, I rather like them—‘love the energy, the noise, and also the thought that our economy is indeed going to be okay!…
