WATCH, LEST YOU BE CAUGHT UNAWARES!!

Are you hearing from select Christians who are talking about watching the signs of the times and watching for the return of Jesus our Savior to take His bride?  How does it make you feel to hear these things?  Does it make you roll your eyes at them, or are you intrigued and want to hear more?  Are you ready to hear these things, or is it something you would rather not talk about?  Are these select…

Do you want to get along better? Romans 12.9-21

Today I had the opportunity to again read aloud Paul’s mandate for loving well. . . I looked at three different versions of the same passage, and here is yet another.  Before we turn the page, and look at Romans chapter 13, I must ask you—how are you doing with loving well? …

Logic funny

The following is perfectly logical to all males.

A wife asks her husband, "Could you please go shopping for me and buy
one gallon of milk, and if they have eggs, get 6."

A short time later the husband returns home with 6 cartons of milk.
The wife asked him, "Why did you buy 6 gallons of milk?"

He replied, "They had eggs."

(I'm sure you're going back to read it again, carefully!)

A visit from the Holy Spirit...

Today, I was visiting an elder from the Chruch I attend. I had went to visit him initially because I was having some problems in my spirit life. Well, after much needed clarification and guidance, we had a long prayer session, just him and I. My friend and elder encouraged me to pray for the Holy Spirit to manifest within me, and to encourage him to feel me with power. Well, after a few minutes of praying, I wasn't recieving the spirit, because I had some doubt and unbelief dwelling in my soul.… Continue

Revelation Chapter  8

1And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

3And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the…

Hoops

Hoops they have made hoop;s for my Christian walk.

Spend all that time on what You can't do.

Some have made lists, they number them.

To be a Christian you can't do all these things.

They would have stoned the women,

The women who Jesus chose not to condemed.

Yes, there are sin's the number is great.

If you are a spokesman for Him, tell them this.

To love God before all & then your brother before yourself.

Tell them about…

All I Really Need to Know I learned in… Romans 12.9-21

Is it possible to live simply in the 21st century?  And would you, if you could?  The whole notion of living simply I find quite appealing, which is why I am sure Robert Fulghum’s poem warms my heart.  ‘All I Really Need to Know I learned in Kindergarten…  Share everything.  Play fair.  Don’t hit people.  Put things back where you found them.  Clean up your own mess.  Don’t take things that aren’t yours.  Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody.  Wash your hands before you…

Revelation Chapter  7

1And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt…

M. Scott Peck, Psychiatrist, wrote a few books, one of them entitled "People of the Lie."  He said that "humanity . . . is locked in a titanic struggle between the forces of good and evil, between God and the devil.  The battleground of this struggle is the individual human soul."  He said the only question of significance is whether the individual soul will be won to God or won to the devil.

Faith

An account of the honour it reflects upon all those who have lived in the exercise of it (Heb 11:2)

By it the elders obtained a good report

Revelation Chapter  6

1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

3And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the…

No Christian is an island. Romans 12.4-8

No man is an island entire of itself.1 Certainly, no Christian is an island, entire of himself. Indeed, we are called to be transformed individuals . . . but we are meant to behave as one body, interrelated in Christ.

As the apostle Paul continues to explain Christianity to the church at Rome, he illustrates the interconnectedness of believers:

“Just as our bodies… Continue

The Book of Revelation Matthew Henry Concise Commentary ( Verses 1-8)

Christ, the Lamb, opens the first seal: observe what appeared. A rider on a white horse. By the going forth of this white horse, a time of peace, or the early progress of the Christian religion, seems to be intended; its going forth in purity, at the time when its heavenly Founder sent his apostles to teach all nations, adding, Lo! I am with you alway, even to the end of the…

The Cost

Jesus Disciples

……. As true-believers we have a duty to impact this world. Our lives and lifestyles should reflect what side we are on.” The Lord's  Side." Our world should see that we are spirit-filled with joy and full of passion. They should see someone who has love oozing from their very words and that any given time love, peace and harmony should affirm that life in Christ is a precious experience.

-zeal for the things of God

-a well made up mind

- a…

This will GROW your faith. Romans 12.3

‘Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves,

measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us,’ Paul writes. So, honestly….what have you done with the amount of faith God has given you?

Have you put your trust in God? Because you can never fully ‘know’ someone, all relationships require faith. But with God, we can look at who he is and what he has done . . . and both make him worthy of our trust . . . a person in whom we…

Measurement of Faithfulness

I usually compare my Christian walk in life with the Biblical people. I often question myself how much do i love God and my loveones? Up to what extent i could be faithful or am i faithful enough? Have i done enough or did i able to go that extra mile?

I believe biblical people ways in life are given to be a perfect example for our daily lives. How they handle trials, problems, sins, decisions, culture, realations, authority and etc.

Biblical people with great faith;
