Have you ever noticed that God seems to have been a little partial to shepherds? I guess it follows then that the Father thinks rather a lot of sheep as well! The enemy is in frantic mode because the time is slipping through his fingers and he knows at the end of this age; he will have to face to the very one who made a mockery of him. God comes to the humble…another angelic visit at Christmas. Christmas, 2016.

Why Mary? Why Nazareth, and for that matter, why Joseph? Surely they were devoted to God, faithful and humble. It seems that the humble are most ready to hear from God. He could have used any means to communicate with Mary and Joseph, but God used angels to speak to the pair who would raise up the boy Jesus. Angels at Christmas? Why, of course!
