Diana's Enemy

Whenever Christianity is preached in any country, there arose many riots. Let us see one such story & learn to apply

Diana is the statue or a stone that the people in the city of Ephesus worshipped. It is thought to be a meteor which fell from the outer space (Acts of Apostles chapter 19 Verse 35). According to the Ephesians, Diana is a fertility god; just like Lingam or Yoni worshipped by Hindus. When Demetrius a craftsman who was making small statue…

Jesus ~ the reactions. John 7.10-13

You would be hard-pressed to find someone who does not have an opinion about Jesus Christ, but surprisingly, there are so many people—even in today’s modern culture—that do not know very much about Jesus.  Most have done little investigation of their own.  They have heard he was born in Bethlehem, and put in a…

How Trustworthy is the Bible?

How reliable and trustworthy are the Scriptures? Are they the written word of God?

  • Many regard the Bible as a masterpiece of literature, the greatest book ever written, and a fascinating history of the Jews and early Christians.  But they hesitate to embrace the claim--or deny it outright--that the Bible is authoritative as God's written word.  In their minds, the…

Poem: Enoch

Enoch was a dynamic soul

who truly sought God’s heart;

as a result of revelation knowledge

being imparted unto him,

God plucked him from the earth

so that he was “no more.”

Since Jehovah is no respecter of persons

and there is “nothing new under the sun”,

then why do we know only of a single individual

who was transported to heaven in the same manner

without experiencing an earthly demise?

How many “other” Enochs were there

whose names are…

Of timing, unbelief, and hatred for the truth.

Of timing, unbelief, and hatred for the truth.  John 7.1-9

As you read or listen to John 7, verses one through nine, notice three things: Jesus was well aware of timing; his brothers did not believe in him; the world hated him because he spoke the truth about them.…

You've been praying and praying . . .

You’ve been praying and praying…         John 6.60-69/prayer

Just in case you are one who is ready to turn away because you have been praying and praying, and it seems your prayers are hitting the ceiling … you just might be like those in the crowd that…

Yet though he slay me.

Yet though he slay me.  John 6.60-69

This is a scene that makes my heart ache for Jesus.  The people have seen his heart—they have heard his teaching, been fed by him, and seen him heal . . . but now, once something is required of them, they turn away from…

Prayer For The Day

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you that You care for me. Forgive me when I fail to trust You and try to take matters in my own hands. Lord, I know that You have the best plan for my life. Please give me the grace to accept it and to do the things that you are speaking to me about each day. Lord, help me to be patient as You work in other people's lives that affect mine. May I extend to them the same grace and mercy that You have extended to me. Lord, grant me the grace to change the things…

Only One.

ONLY ONE.  John 6.60-69

Better to be poor and honest than to be dishonest and rich!

The love of money can motivate any evil on this earth.

1) Worldly rich: Rich sometimes get rich by oppressing the poor. There are many wicked rich people in this world who have hardened their hearts filled with arrogancy, selfishness, harshness, cold-heartedness throwing rich parties wasting their money on useless things, who are overfed and has no pity nor concerned about the poor but are hoarded with wealth, pride and refused to pay their workers, who…

Lord hears the prayer of the righteous!

The righteous man is the one who listen to God, who fear God and who do not practices his own righteousness but he lives according to the Scriptures and Gods ways .

He makes a great relationship with God as his top priority. Gods word says that eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer” (1 Peter 3:12; Psalm 34:15), and, again, “the prayer of the upright pleases Him” (Proverbs 15:8).

When a righteous man prays, there is…

Prayer For The Day

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for allowing me to have children and grandchildren. Lord, help me to be the proper kind of parent who loves her children enough to discipline them. Forgive me when I have failed my children. Help me to be patient, loving, and kind in all disciplinary acts. Lord, I pray for the parents and grandparents of this generation that they may have wisdom, love and guidance in all of their relationships with their children and grandchildren. Lord, give our children…

How is your eyesight today?

Today as you go through your day what is your vision telling you? Do your eyes seem to be blurry in seeing others? The guy who cut you off in traffic today was really helping cloud your vision right? The clerk in the store with the wild haircut, how did she appear to you? Your husband/ wife now there is someone who can really give you vision difficulty. Did your eyes focus this morning on Jesus or on you this morning?

From the moment we get up in the morning our eyes start…

Trust must be built...

Matt 10:25 25 Students are to be like their teacher, and slaves are to be like their master. And since I, the master of the household, have been called the prince of demons, the members of My household will be called by even worse names! Have you ever had one of those days? It does not brighten our day when we know others have bad days also. Yet, we are given verses like Heb 2:18 Since He Himself has gone through suffering…

Roses + Thorns

Several years ago, The Lord showed me a rose.  I was sitting in my garden weeping.  I was weeping because my heart was broken.  I had recently surrendered my life to the Lord, and my husband was really mad… I mean really mad.  He wanted a divorce.  I was heartbroken.  So I sat down to speak with My Saviour…I sat on the stairs in my garden in front of the roses.  The Lord showed me the dirt, and told me about the roots beneath the dirt.  He told me that the roots have to grow in deep to…
