All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Matt 10:25 25 Students are to be like their teacher, and slaves are to be like their master. And since I, the master of the household, have been called the prince of demons, the members of My household will be called by even worse names! Have you ever had one of those days? It does not brighten our day when we know others have bad days also. Yet, we are given verses like Heb 2:18 Since He Himself has gone through suffering and testing, He is able to help us when we are being tested. We are told this, not so we can feel better that others have bad days. No. Here we see Jesus is called, the prince of demons. We are told we can expect even worse names. No matter. Because, whatever we are called or go through, Jesus will give us Aid! He will strengthen us, comfort us, and we are able to share with Him everything. Some will say, “duh, He sees everything.” That is not the point or reason. Trust, it must be built. We must know beyond a shadow..., He will listen, understand, and give us Comfort. Trust must be without question. This may take time. Never forget Jesus does not wear or carry a watch. We must have a relationship born of Love, and strengthened by Trust.
Matt 10:28-31 28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. I will ask you to give me a moment, as I share this next part. “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body;...” We are able to see the obvious, we need not fear death. So, why do we fear dying to ourselves? In v39 “If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.” Maybe fear is not quite the correct word.
Fear- a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain.
-something that causes feeling of dread or apprehension
-anticipation of the possibility that something unpleasant will occur
-for fear of, for fear that, for fear lest
No, “fear” is the correct word. Not wanting to give up certain things. Having dread of what you might have to begin to do. Allowing the enemy to convince you that you are not prepared for what may come. Not wanting to give up control and thinking again and again, “I have free will; I have free will; I have free will!!” Having already your ear bent to the voice of the enemy, you might begin to hear such things as, “God is a Puppeteer; you are not equipped for what God may ask of you; God only make cookies with a cookie cutter.” Or, you just do not want to change, it may be bad but, it is what you know. First, we must divide between the enemy and our flesh. Once that is done. You rebuke the enemy, in Jesus Name. Humble yourself and ask for forgiveness. Consider what you are really looking at. 29 What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. 30 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. He knows when a sparrow falls. When I sweep the floors, or clean out the screen to catch hair in the shower. I would not take the time to count all the hair. Yet, God keeps track of a ever changing number of hair still on our heads. That one fact, helps us define but one aspect of His Love and Knowledge of us. He knows our hearts, our thoughts, and all of our actions. Far and away better than we ever could know ourselves. How can we begin to think He has not prepared us for this moment and the next to come. He has equipped us with the tools we will need. We need only to receive them. He will continue to Protect and Prepare us. As we put forth our Faith in Him.
