There is a great need for thinkers in the body of Christ who love the Word of God. I am fortunate in being in a group every week from my church where we go through books of the Bible.

When I study the Bible I try to keep in mind that that the writers were writing to mostly illiterate people and that it must be simplistic in our interpretations. It is important to know the culture and also some of the opposing factors such as you talked about in the book of Colossians.
You are going to be a good asset to this net. Thanks for sharing.
