My story with God: I gave my life to God to control in 1987 when I was about as broken as I felt I would ever be. I know He was knocking on my door but continued to try and run my life as I felt it should be. I was finally broken and accepted His control of my life. I still have issues that I have much difficulty controlling and feel very convicted when I give in to those situations and ask God to forgive me. I keep asking the Holy Spirit to be when me in those times and feel like I don't get the help I need to control my impulses. I love the Lord and want desperately to follow Him 1005 of my life. I also feel these things I face are my thorns in my side as Paul had his that we do not know what it was.
