Hi Melissa! Just stopping by to say hello and hope you are having a good week! I'm doing okay. Monday is D Day (Due Day) so I'm counting down to that. Friday was my last day at work so I've been doing a lot of sleeping...which everyone seems to think is good because they say I wont be getting much after he's born... Anywho, hope you are doing good, just checking in with ya!!!! Angela

Oh it's going to be a little boy. Brandon Layne. I was told Brandon means light at the top of the hill/mountain - and Layne meaning path... thought it was pretty cool together... and I didn' even pick the name out, the dad did. Good job! I work beside the tower your friends worked at. Well, today was my last day at work for two months. I went ahead and started my maternity leave because I just couldn't stay awake during the day and the halls are sooo long to walk. I need to rest up a bit before he comes. I'm almost sad because, I'm so tired lately I feel lazy with my goal to get closer to God. It's hard to get myself pumped up when all I want to do is sleep. I know it sounds weird, but I love the times when I'm close to God and now I'm a little bummed because I've been so tired...and I feel like I was on a roll and now I feel so week! I really hope what you say is true... how giving birth will bring me closer to God.. the whole experience.. I'm really looking forward to it. I know I should be really happy, but I think it's just getting close and I'm ready to get this thing rolling. Please pray for me :o) I really hope I can get married soon after. That has been bothering me. We want to, it's the economy and he's been trying very hard to get on full time where he's working. This all happend so fast we didn't have time to do it the way we wanted. I know this baby is a blessing though and I just can't wait to kiss him -his little fingers and toes... I won't keep you. It makes me feel good to be able to write my new friend in Christ! I don't have any friends that I can talk to about how deeply I feel about things. It makes me feel better, so thanks for letting me talk! Have a great night! Angela

Hello Melissa! I'm from KY too! If you ever want to talk, you're more than welcome to write me. I came here to grow closer/stay in touch with God (by talking with others who want to get/stay close to him like I do). I think it's good to talk with other believers. I haven't been a member that long, but it's good to know that when you are talking with someone, and you want to say something nice, you know you can...because they have God in their hearts and on their mind, just like you. It feels good! At the end of the day, I like to come here to see if I have any new comments and I surf around the site to get encouragement and to renew. So where do you work? I work for the State in Frankfort. Although, tomorrow is my last day for two months! I'm getting ready to be a mom unexpectedly, but it was a good surprise. I hope I'm ready! I'm scared and excited. I'm not due until the 26th of this month but thought I would take a week to straighten up the house, and give some special attention to my pups because they might not get the loves mommy is used to giving them for just a little bit. My name is Paige,another moderator here on TheNet. I just wanted to stop in and say hello too and that it is soo awesome that you have decided to join us as we grow in the love of Jesus and share Him with others.

I know that this site will bless you and encourage you as you walk daily in HIm. God is soo good and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Whatever we do and wherever we go, we cannot escape the love of our God that surpasses all understanding. It is an honor to have you here to share your walk with god and what He has done for you.
Is ee that those good ole doctors gave you the idea that you couldnt have kids too huh? Well, gee what happened to you is what happened to me. They said I couldnt, so I didnt planon having any kids. Until I surrendered to Him in 2002. I had my son December 2004. Hmm. Those doctors are pretty good huh? Anything is possible with God if it is His will. Sometimes I think to myself," Now why did He entrust these kids to me?" but all in all He really thought I could handle it. I just have to trust. So how old are your kids? I have a now 3 year old boy, and a 8 month old girl. Both are good kids. My son definately had the terrible twos soo bad I thought he would never get over it, but with patience, he did.
As far as what I "do" for a living, I am a mom and an artist. I am home with my kids, but I also take them onsite to paint if I have to . Im a painter too. I do murals and faux finishing.(decorative finishing).
I used top be a front desk clerk for an advertising company a while ago too. before that i was an account executive for a printing company. Now with God and 2 kids, I just couldnt do that anymore. God had other plans.
Anyway, make sure you check out all our great groups and discussions that you can participate in. Its a great way to get rducated on certain topics and meet other Christians and thier views from all around the world.
