- I have six grown up children. I am single and happy that way. I have a new job at a fitness centre run by the local council. Really enjoying my life but concerned that I'm letting my relationship with the Lord slip.

How are you? It has been forever since we connected! I am sorry that I had left for a while. The lord led me to concentrate on some other things in my life that needed my attention. It was all God ordained and it all worked out perfectly. Well, I am back and ready to moderate again. How are you? I thought about you from time to time and wondered what you were up to. How is your faith nowadays? How is the whole gym thing going? Still into physical fitness? I tell you that there is nothing like a good endorphine cocktail to ease the edge off, right?? Anyway, i hope you are at a better place than where you were. Im still here for you if you need anyone!!

Hello Janet!!!Im sorry it has taken me soo long to get back with you. I am a total airhead sometimes. You came online just when I was having a real hard time and its hard for me to remember anything when I feel so run down. I hope you understand.
I really appreciate your lovely comments and encouragement. You are truly a gifted woman in the Lord in helping others and uplifting them. Thank you!! Your words are soo full of love and light! gee, I wish I could be a light all the time, but Im working on it. Im sure am glad that I have God and that I have His help and I dont have to rely on my own strength to live this life. I dont know where Id be without Him. Oh my goodness, Id be dead!!! I wouldve died of my anorexia if it wasnt for Him!!! Praise God!!!

Wow!!!It was a blessing to get not one, but two messages from you soo quick!!! That is soo cool. I read about you and just couldnt help writing you and telling you about myself, and my experiences, especially with fitness. I must say that you definately look very physically fit. I mean, you would have to in order to keep up with all those grandkids!!! I dont think I mentioned this, but my husband just truned 52 this year, and he has 5 grandchildren already. Our children that we had together are younger than his grandkids. Isnt that crazy!! He was previously married, and had 2 girls. They got married,had kids, then we met got married and had kids. Because of the past I had and all the abuse I did to my body, doctors said that I couldnt have kids. Well,7 years later,3 yearsafter I came to Christ, I got pregnant. We both were very SHOCKED needless to say. We didnt know what to think, It definately wasnt in the plans! But God did. His plans are always bigger and better, even though we dont really see that at first. We were scared out of our minds, but it all worked out.Financially it worked out fine. Now we live in a new home, in a new area with another new baby. I have been going through some postpardom depression, but there is light at the end of the tunnel! Did you experience postpardom? and how did you deal with it? How long did it last?

My name is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet and I am soo pleased that you have decided to join us as we all grow the widomt of the Lord and His love. We are here to encourage,support and help one another as we all walk in Him and the path He has set before us.
I see that you are from Australia! Wow! What a blessing! I had an uncle that lived out there for a really long time, but returned here to Utah after a hairy divorce. Divorces will do dit to you. But anyway he told me all about it and how beautiful it is out there. What a blessing for you. You should come on out to little ole' Utah to see me. I live in a state that is known for its incredible skiing and beautiful mountains. I like the mountains, but you wouldnt catch me skiing at all. I rather stick needles in my eyes than ski. I am terrified of it. You strike me as the type that would be adventurous enough to try it and even snowboarding. You go girl!!!
So you like to workout to ! Cool. I was a "Gym rat" for quite a few years. Well, I always went to the gym ever since I was 13, but in 1997 it got out of hand. I had always struggled with my self worth and my identity and without Christ in my life it was really bad. so I turned anorexic and bulimic. I almost died in 2000, but God got a hold of me. I am pretty much healed, but just to make sure that there is no temptation, I dont go to a gym anymore. I run,walk,do strength training,and all my old workout videos. Hey, to me they work! Its something.
Anyway, 6 grown children!!! Wow!Praise God that you made it through parenting pretty much. How in the world did you make it through the terrible twos!!!! My son is now 3 and he is driving me insane. He was a very complacent child, but I wasnt ready for this. Oh man!!! What an experience!!1 Ill have to get some advice rom you on raising kids. I have Chase who is 3 and Danielle is 8months. Bring on the advice!!! Im all ears!!
Anyway, sister, I really am happy that you are here. You will be a fun member to have around here. You are truly a blessing and I cant wait to get to know you more! Remember, we are all one body. The body of Christ. God is not t respecter of persons. He will never leave us nor forsake us. You may "feel" like you are slipping away, but youre probably really not. All of us feel like we are not good enough for God to forgive us and stay with us and love us. There are times that I think God doesnt care or that I am a rotten Christtian, but I have to hang on. I have to hang on to His promises because He is all I have. He saved me from killing myself so why would I doubt HIm?
