- God has always been present in my life and he's always tried to make me aware of it. I did not grow up in church so I knew pretty much nothing of the word. I lived my life being confused about a lot when it came to God, and when I'd seek understanding people condemned me for asking questions. I did not believe in the bible because things was so unclear and no one provided clarity and I felt it was only a man written book. I have made constant attempts to come to the Lord but it would always be something that made me turn away. I knew he's been with me because I'm sure I've always felt a sense of what I believe to be his presence. I've lived a hard life and I'm not ashamed to say that out of ignorance, I was the type of person that believed the most when I was in need. I believed God knew my heart so I strived to be as good as possible. My belief was always there but not at 100% and my faith was non existent even through he saved me from myself and others on numerous occasions. Well I decided after living and doing things my way with no progress in my life why not give God control because I clearly didn't know what I was doing, lbvs. The day I surrendered I believe God was telling me it was time. I woke up feeling horrible and the spirit of depression was really weighing on me, I couldn't stop crying the entire day. No matter who I called to talk to nothing or no one made me feel any better not even my babies. I got on my knees and said ok God I'm done running, I'm ready to do it your way. I got saved August 5 2018 and baptised August 26
Everyday I strive to become closer to GOD, I'm so happy he accepted me after I have turned away so many times. I've been so disloyal and he loved me through it all. I've never had a love like this before and now every move I make is through him. My faith had been tested and I've been going through many trail and tribulations but I know in my heart of hearts I can make it through anything as long as I have Jesus living through me.I was told 2018 was going to be my year but I didn't know what exactly that was going to mean for me and now I do and its been some year but I'm so grateful. I refuse to live another day without Jesus love flowing through me.💜

- I am a 35 year old single mother of four amazing children. I am in the process of furthering my education to become a social worker, as my desire to help people has always been present. I've found so much fulfilment in being of assistance to others. I genuinely love people and to be able to wake up each day and know I'm going to make a difference in someone's life will bring me so much pleasure.
