My story with God: I got saved when I was eighteen. I went from being a member of Young Life to being a hippy Jesus 'freak'. My miss ion was to save the world until someone introduced to 1 Corinthians 13 and told me I had no love in my walk. Shortly thereafter I backsliding and joined a cult which I remained in for over thirty years. I was miserable and uNhappy. I suffered from depression and alcoholism. I was in and out of psychiatric units for years. I was self absorbed and self-interest. A few years ago my roommate was going to church and invited me to come along. I had been listening to a Christian radio station and had an increased desire to go to church. So God worked through the music and my roommate.
