Weakness is as pride
"My grace is all you need, because My power is perfected in weakness." Therefore, I will most happily boast about my weaknesses, so that the Messiah's power may rest on me. 2Cor 12:9 Many as myself have wondered about this. To unlock at least part we need to see weakness as it is meant here. We see “weakness” as lack. Yet, here what we must understand is to remove pride from ourselves. Or, to see pride as a lacking we have that we Do Not need. For it is the humble heart that is able to be used. To gladly release any and all self and or pride, so we can be of True use to The Lord. To work as Prayer Warriors, Spiritual Warriors, servants of The Most High, self Must die. When we release the thinking of pride or self power, we are able to be Instruments of the Lord. We have warfare to do here in His Name, under His Guidance. The Angels of The Lord are at battle. We have time that His Power must flow through us. When we lay hands on the sick, when we lay hands to Baptize others in The Spirit. When we as Prayer Warriors do battle, we cannot, again we Cannot think we have that power. Self-pride will not allow the Spirit to flow and use us as He has Created us to do His Will to and for His Glory ALONE. So to be weak is to be humble. In our humility and desire to do His Will than and than alone, the Messiah's power may rest on me.

May you experience the Love of Christ, though it is too Great to Understand fully. Then you will be made Complete with all the fullness of Life and Power that comes from God. Eph 3:19 As we experience the Love of Christ, we learn Trust, Faith grows according to The Power of God. With perfect Peace You will protect those whose minds cannot be changed, because they Trust You. Isa 26:3 That Peace is our Confident Hope. I know i have shared these verses in many places yet, I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the most Glorious Father, would give you a Wise spirit, along with Revelation that comes through Knowing the Messiah fully. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with Light so that you can understand the Confident Hope He has given to those He Called--His Holy people who are His Rich and Glorious Inheritance. Eph 1:17-18 What a Powerful Prayer to agree with in Jesus Name. We need Spiritual Sight to be able to see all that we have in Christ.
What is The Father asking of us??? DESIRE! HUNGER! He wants us to seek Him and His Ways, or we are to exercise Faith, the Faith He has Given us. All that is unlocked when we seek Him. I Pray that we obey His Word, that we follow The Spirit leading. There is Real Power in The Lord. Power we need to become who God wants us to be. The answers we seek are here.

Excellent discussion! It is so true that pride is the greatest detrement to having joy in the Lord and in serving Him as we should . In fact scriptures say that " pride proceeds destruction and a haughty spirit proceeds a fall".
Only when we acknowledge our weaknesses and insufficiencies can we truly 'get out of God's way' and let Him work through us. This reminds me of a book I read a long time ago. I can't remember the name of the lady who wrote it but the title was " I love the word impossible". In the book she explains that some times we must come to the realization that there is nothing we can do about a situation and then we become more than wiling to let God deal with it. Something we should do in the first place but somehow have a problem with until we make ourselves a wreck trying to figure it out.
Phil 2:13 tells us "...it is God who works in you both to WILL and to DO of His good pleasure." The desire and ability to serve must both come from God. So there is absolutely nothing for us to be prideful of.

Awesome discussion, and teachings; Pride - cometh before a fall,... and Will- which I struggle with; even though a wonderful friend who's graduated, told me why we have free will... is to choose God, and not to be forced to basically; to want Him of our own volition,... Our Father loves us that much to wish us happiness 7 love ... to find our own way; be it with Him, or to discover a less than heavenly return on our investments... Thank youall for enlightening myself & others to dying to self, so we may have life more abundantly,...:)
