Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

I had my youngest child at a young age, I ended up dropping out of high school, and never going back. Now that I am walking with Jesus, and have given my life over to him, I will not let the fear get in my way. I just need prayer to be able to withhold all the information I have been studying, and have a calming day tomorrow. thank you sincerely and may God bless you all:D

For many years, the more I pray for things to change (including myslef) the faster things seem to be falling apart. My desire is for my family to come back together and share a walk with the Lord. A true walk, rather than just pay it lip service.

I just joined this prayer room because I believe I need your help to support me in prayers.
I am unemployed and need a job very urgently. I have Diploma in Information Studies and majored in Librarianship from the best university of my country. As that was not enough I have also pursued a lot of computer courses such as Visual Basic and MCSE qualified but still not employed which is really making me to give up because day in and day out only God knows how I survive. Please do help me in prayers. Thank you all in advance.

The Devil is a liar. And you Monica, are more than a conqueror through Christ the Messiah who will give you strength and wisdom and a sound mind.
Count it all joy, because God is in the process of teaching you how to be an overcomer!! :) and if God is for you .... Who can be against you? No weapon formed against you will prosper. In the last verses of Psalms 103 it tells us God's throne is established in the heavens and His mighty angels wait there listening, with the intention of being obedient to the voice of His word.. to take the Word of God out to accomplish what it is sent out to do. Your words are powerful!! Pray God's word over your situation. His word will not return void, but will accomplish what it is sent out to do. In Him you can do ALL things ... without Him we can do nothing of lasting value.

Comment by Sharone on July 21, 2008 at 2:27pm: There is another scripture that I had memorized, but I can't remember from where right now. It says 'God has not given us a spirit of fear but of peace love and a sound mind'. Affirm this in your life. It helps.

Isaiah 41:10; Psalm 34:4, Psalm 23; Luke 12:5; 1John 4:18; Epe 2:14; John14:27. I am sure they are more. I also take comfort in Jer29:11-13 and Isaiah 43:1 Ireplace 'Isreal' with my name to personnalize it. Read all of Isaiah 43. It is so beautiful and reassuring in times f doubts and fears. The thing is that i have the potential but i feel scared somethings and the spirit of fear attacks me. am a youth who wants to stand up and change the life's of other youth splice help me break the spirit of fear for i know is the devil
