I really appreciate everyone who is praying for me.  Please continue.  As some of you have seen I've posted a couple of poems to certain people/situations.  After much prayer and though I've decided to put some of my poetry on a blog.  My prayer is it will be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who need it.  Thank you for being so kind and accepting me in this family.

Please be in prayer for a pastor friend of mine.  His name is Shawn Griffith and he is pastor of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Gastonia NC.  About 2 years ago the Lord led me to send him "A Minister's Prayer".  As always God's timing is perfect.  His wife Roseann was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago.  The Lord put him very strongly on my heart today and I was able to find his number and call him.  His wife is about the same as she was 2 years ago but she is on a new medication.  Please pray for God to touch his wife and their children and pray for Shawn as he has had several funerals in his church lately. Thank you for your prayers.

Texanbrit - This is for you as the Lord just led me to share this.  It's yet another poem I wrote from my experiences. It is: GOD'S GLORY YOUR GAIN

For quite some time now I've been plagued with sickness and disease

Sometimes it's hard to do the things I used to do with ease

One night not too long ago I went to God in prayer

I said "In your word you tell us to cast on you our care

Tell me Lord what have a done to make you mad at me

Open up my blinded eyes so I can clearly see"

In quietness I heard him say "My child please understand

Although you're in a valley I still hold you in my hand

You have not done a thing my child to make me mad at you

Yet this is for my glory and I'm going to see you through

Remember this my loved one there won't always be pain

For when I get my glory you will get your gain

You're going to come out stronger than you ever did before

I am refining you as gold, don't worry anymore".

Please may I ask for further prayer? I have been feeling VERY VERY tired for a LONG TIME, (started in December last year, so about 5 or 6 moths now) I went for a blood test in Feb. Got the results back that I had Mono, my husband and family have been very supportive and I know that it has caused more stress than any of us needs, but I am still having the hardest time getting better fully, I am better.. But I seem to go for a few days of ok then I just have to sleep!! Yesterday I went to sleep early evening and woke up just in time tk shower and get ready to do my Tuesday schedule, I cam home with my young child and thankfully he went to sleep as well as me, but this is getting unbearable for me and my family..although no one says that at home, I know it has to be true!!:/

Susie - The Lord has led me to share with you a poem He gave me several years ago.  It was actually a vivid dream, a true story. My prayer is it will bless you.  It is:

I DID IT ALL FOR YOU

I dreamed one night not long ago Jesus knelt beside my bed

I could tell He had been crying, His eyes were very red

He said My child I know sometimes you really don't feel loved

Yet I'm here to remind you why I left My throne above

I did it all for you my child, I didn't hesitate

Even though I bore much pain My love for you was great

If you had been the only one living on the earth

I still would have died for you, that's how much you're worth

But can I tell you something, I didn't want to die

I even asked the Father to let the cup pass by

Yet I submitted to God's will because I love you so

I hold you firmly in My hand and I'll never let you go

Lord, as you have done for me and my fear and depression I pray you would do for Susie and everyone else who feels this way.  Thank you for what you are about to do.  Amen

Father God, please help Susie and free her from the depression and fear - I know that bondage and it can really entangle if we let it.  Father, you have not given us a spirit of timidity but of courage.  We raise up our sister in Christ to you to heal her inside and out.  May she have blessings of peace rain down on her every day.  In Jesus' Holy Wonderful Name, Amen

Father, I lift Susie before You in the Name of Jesus. Heal her mind and body. Let her rejoice in You once again. Remove all fear and doubt. Let her see Your glory. Cleanse her of all sin.

Father, we rejoice in You this day. Thank You for taking all sin away. Help us to be more resolute in our purpose and cause. Help us to stand against the many sins that plague our nation. Let Your people become strong once again to force this evil from within. Help us to speak out against those who perpetrate free choice. Give strength to those who stand against free choice. Help us to stop this slaughter against the unborn. You have not given us that choice and yet we have risen above You in this matter to say that it is up to each individual. Forgive us, Lord, and strengthen us. In Jesus Name. Help us to speak out loud and strong especially on the days of our elections. Help us to fulfill our free moral duty of voting.
